Here they are, the Power Rankings for week 6. Enjoy :D

The Drum Roll:
In my eyes, the phins played better last week. Joey may not be our future QB and he may not be as accurate as C-Pep but he has the mobility to get out of the way when protection breaks down. With the way this O-Line has been playing, we really need mobility.

As far as the rankings go. We can't expect to be any higher with a 1-4 record. I hope we can turn it around against NY.

Later and GO FINS!!!!! :D

Average Dolphin Rank: 26 (-2)

Next opponent: Jets.
Average Ranking: 22

Average Rank for '06 Season So Far : 21
'06 Season Highest Rank : 13 (week 1)
'06 Season Lowest Rank :
24 (week 3)

Dolphins Rank: 25 (-2)

Comment: Yes, they played the Patriots hard. But at 1-4, that might not matter. The Dolphins are pretty close to being sunk.

Dolphins Rank: 24 (-1)

Comment: It doesn't matter if it's Daunte Culpepper or Joey Harrington. This offense isn't very good. And that's why they won't be a playoff team.

Dolphins Rank: 26 (-1)

Comment: How bad have things gotten for the Dolphins offense? Chris Leak and Tim Tebow—the quarterback duo at the University of Florida—are legitimately a better 1-2 than the Dolphins' Culpepper-Harrington combo. No one's really talking about it — but here's a thought: Maybe this team misses Ricky Williams more than they expected. Based on Miami's first five games, I'm not 100% certain that Ronnie Brown's an every-down NFL back.

Dolphins Rank: 30 (-2)

Comment:
Let's face it: The team was falling apart under Daunte Culpepper. In four games he had been sacked 21 times. Saban was getting calls from the Humane Society. Against the Patriots, a team that can bring it, Joey Harrington was sacked once. I'm not suggesting anything. I didn't even watch the game. Just throwing numbers at you, as I usually do.

Dolphins Rank: 24 (-)
Comment: Barring an injury to Harrington, don't expect Culpepper back on the field anytime soon.

I love when guys get all bent out of shape over these rankings that mean squat.

What does it matter where anyone ranks us?
Were 1-4, 0-2 in the division, 1-4 in AFC Conferecne games and in the cellar that's all that matters.

Another unbiased ranking.

It seems like Dr.Z agrees with the decision to start Harrington over C-Pep not like his opinion matters.

all we can really do now is move up so it cant get much worse, Dr Z didnt even watch the game and really joey harringtons numbers didnt sum up how well he actually did play in that game

my power poll has us at number one...
you can check it out at>> hispowerpoll.miamialwaysnumber1.forrealdawg

I can't really complain about any of those.. Seem pretty fair based on our play so far..

The only thing that I would take offense to is this:

Based on Miami's first five games, I'm not 100% certain that Ronnie Brown's an every-down NFL back.

Well.. What does he expect when Ronnie only recieves as many carries as a back-up would??

I'd put the Bucs ahead of us probably, they looked pretty good last week.
