Here they are, the Power Rankings for week 7. Enjoy :D

The Drum Roll: After the miami meltdown last week, the Fins have fallen an average of 5 positions in this weeks power polls. I am curious to see how/if the fins can bounce back after this kind of loss.

Comment: Ricky didn't pick a great team to make his comeback against. The Bucs are No. 1 in the NFL against the rush, giving up just 62 yards per game.

Comment: One of the reasons why the Miami run defense is stuffing is that the safeties (Lance Schulters and Tebucky Jones) are very quick to come up and tackle the ballcarrier on running plays. Unfortunately, this also makes them susceptible to long runs: the Dolphins have given up 22% of running yards on runs over double digits, the sixth-worst total in the league. NEXT: vs. KC, which has gained 21% of its running yards on runs over double digits, the sixth-best total in the league.

thanx man...i thought we would be much lower. i really like dr. z and the fox sports net...they're nice to us.

Not that it really matters, but Ronnie has two rushing TDs so far.
I do agree that the backs are not to blame for lack of production on the ground.
 
rankings, schmankings. we are a good team. can compete with any team. "power" rankings, are biased, and spur of the moment malarkey( no not mike)..its interesting for a second, but i dont need a "professional" to tell me my team is #20, or #14, or #1, or # 6...doesnt matter..not one ranking bit!
 
Gotta say, the only one ever worth looking at is SI.com

Dr. Z knows his stuff and has well-reasoned opinions.
 
i agree with all of them. we are an average team. until we can get some efficiency on offense, and a secondary that can play above average, we will stay average.

hey. im starting to actually agree with ALL of these power rankings. We are finally getting some respect. Lets beat KC and go 3-3 though. if we go 2-4 we deserve to be trashed.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing because I remember Ronnie got his 2nd touchdown last week even though I didn't get to the end of the game because CBS freaking took it off for the Pittsburgh game... and I have DIRECT TV but the Dolphin game was on locally for me on CBS so I couldn't go to the Direct TV Channel... in conclusion the last play I say was the rush to Ricky on 4th and inches and than they took off the game, I was pretty pissed and I still am... :mad:

Thanks! I usually post between Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. Thats how long it usually takes for all the rankings to get updated.

yeah because we beat the broncos in week 1. ignore the records and the LOGIC that would make someone think otherwise, this guy decides to rank miami ahead of them

if you tried to rank every team ahead of every team they beat.....well it'd be impossible to say the least
