Feeley's first pass was intercepted by #45 Roundtree. He did look good a couple of plays sticking the ball in there amid heave pressure with an effortless flick of the wrist including one to Ed Perry in the middle of the field for a nice 20 yard gain. He specifically had a hard time throwing on the run on a couple memorable reps.
Jay overthrew an open Thompson and was picked off by #24 Knight who was finally tackled by Minor who refused to give up on the play. He also had a pass to Minor where Travis broke outside and Jay threw the pass down field. They didn’t even make eye contact after the pass fell incomplete. He did have a stretch of 4-5 in a row at one point, but none longer then 10 yards.
