Omar: "I wonder how many times I have to tell you JIMMY MAKES PLAYS before you'll believe me."

Jimmy makes plays alright, for mike Evans. I was at that game and had to see that in person.

I remember some saying Lazor would have much direct involvement with the QBs (may have been on here or one of the teams stellar journalists)...but rarely is he ever not watching the QB's (most OCs do), but seems directly involve in their coaching....

Excellent and exactly what i wanted to hear. Zack the QB coach should be taking notes.

Omar's tweets come off as obnoxious as hell.

He's a closet racist showing his true colors, straight up and simple. He has never liked any of Miami's non-black skill position players.

There is a lot not to like about Omar his writing style, and how much of a agenda he really does have.

Why dont we bring in Tyler Thigpen for a tryout. He cant be any worse than Brady Quinn.

Oh yes he can, and I'd probably put my money on Quinn straight up to win that competition. Remember the home game against Chicago a few years back? That was Thigpen's first, and last start for a reason. He sucks.

Have to love hearing that Wallace, Hartline and Tannehill are doing some extra work...

There really is no point... They are just kicking the tires on Quinn.. It doesnt look like they were really planning to move on from Moore at all and I dont see us keeping 3 qb's active.

Ryan Tannehill throws deep after hearing footsteps from Wake and Hartline had to break up a possible INT to Will Davis.

Andrew Abramson ‏@AbramsonPBP 17s
Tannehill has a ton of time to throw, goes deep looks for Hartline in the end zone. Good coverage by Will Davis, no catch.

James Walker ‏@JamesWalkerNFL 14s
#Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill goes deep to WR Brian Hartline incomplete. CB Will Davis on the coverage.

Greg Likens ‏@GregLikens 14s
On 4th down, Tannehill fires deep to Hartline incomplete. WDavis in coverage. Throw was about 45 yards but drifted out of bounds #Dolphins

One play, 4 different versions, only one with an arrogance to it, and a seemingly driven attack on Tannehill hearing footsteps, and possibly being intercepted....reason #206 why reading Omar Kelly's coverage makes you even more lost with what is actually going on.

Can we either stop posting Omar's tweets or stop bitching about him every ****ing day!

not an omar apologist in the slightest, but he has said that zach thomas is his favorite dolphin of all time.

1. It's amazing how bad Brady Quinn, really, for someone who was considered a top 10 pick before his draft. Honestly, he should be a case study in college evaluations to see how he misled evaluators. Granted, even Cam Cameron passed on him and he didn't go until 22 to Cleveland so maybe many in the NFL actually knew. The Browns picks for qb are pure hilarity.

2. Anthony Johnson reminds me of a Jimmy Johnson style defensive tackle. I mean that as a compliment. I always liked how Jimmy built his defense. I think he'd be all over Johnson. Johnson has some quick twitch there. I like it.

3. I am intrigued by our assistant GM, Stokes. He has a good background.

4. As for all of the GM candidates we met with and passed on us, I think we got the right guy. Media favoritism for the other guys was all superficial. I mean, Ray Farmer, Lake Dawson, Caserio? Farmer doesn't seem to have any idea what he is doing in Cleveland and may be gone in a hurry. Caserio: well the Pats haven't been drafting great. Lake Dawson, pffft. This is all stupid media driven drama. Hickey seems to be a good fit. It's hard to see what is happening behind the scenes, but we seem to have upgraded significantly. All of the drama and negativism against Miami during the process is irrelevant and not on anyone's radar now. Of course, the proof will be in the pudding. But, James will start. Landry looks like an impact player. Turner is likely a future starter. Aikens is acclimating to safety but was running second team. Tripp and Fede were steals. Anthony Johnson, Chris McCain as undrafteds could be freaking NFL starters. Damien Williams looks good too. Miami's scouting seems to have been fine as we have found good players in the late rounds (think Jimmy Wilson and Charles Clay), and that hasn't changed so the common denominator is good scouting. But the GM lacked the horsepower to make decisions.

That JIMMY MAKES PLAYS line reminds me of Seinfeld every time.
