In the open portion of #Dolphins practice, Billy Turner & Spencer Paysinger aren't working. As expected, Ja'Wuan James isn't here

Jamil Douglas taking first team snaps at right guard.@ArmandoSalguero

Rookie WR DeVante Parker is practicing, at least on a limited basis
@GregLikens

The plan is for DeVante Parker to work back into practice and "see how I feel at the end of the week."
@ArmandoSalugero

I remember Turner was shaking his hand or something at one point during the Bills game.

Eagles defense is going to destroy the dolphins offense with larry, mo and curley on the line. Can't wait.

The good news is that DeVante Parker is back to practice this week.

The first-round draft pick returned to practice today and said he would be limited to individual drills as he works his way back from a scar tissue issue on his surgically repaired foot. Parker missed last week's game at Buffalo.

The not-so-good news is that while practicing on a limited basis, it is unlikely Parker will be able to make the kind of coaches are hoping to see before they trust the rookie with more snaps in a game. So even as Parker progresses this week, it is hard to fathom him getting, say, 30 snaps at Philadelphia Sunday.

On the other hand, at least he's back working to a degree.

Not working at all today are right guard Billy Turner (unknown injury) and Spencer Paysinger (shoulder) did not practice today.

The Dolphins right side of the offensive line in practice today was Jason Fox at right tackle and rookie Jamil Douglas at right guard -- two backups.

Yes, starting right tackle Ja'Wuan James is still not practicing and not expected to play Sunday.

Maybe we should start game planning like coaches do.. I don't know how Lazor plans for gameday but we have to find a way to give Fox some help at RT, stop these Landry passes behind the line of scrimmage and we have to be less predictable which will keep that agressive Eagles defense on their heels all day

On a side note - I'm not watching the game, the Buffalo game was a waste of time when I could enjoy my day off at the beach or something.

Lol , exactly . The season is over for us while for some other REAL teams ... This is their preseason .

****ing joke ... And they won't let Parker play so he can get his " Rookie " out of the way and be ready as a pro next year .

Now next year Parker has to go through a rookie season because these morons in our front office won't allow our rookies to get valuable playing time in games that don't ****ing matter anymore !

Burn it ....burn it alllllll!!

Why can't Jeff Linkenbach get some run? If the answer is he sucks, then why did he make the team as a vested vet? The guy HAS started many games before in the NFL. So much for him being next man up.

Devante's injury took place 15 months ago with an initial projected recovery time of 6-8 weeks. That's concerning. His playing on it obviously seems to have aggravated the injury and here we are again pushing him to play on a foot with issues. Just shelve the guy and let specialists monitor his foot's progress for next year.

Eagles are not a good team but it's looking like they have us completely outmatched. This oline is ugly as ever. Our D won't be able to take advantage of the fact that Bradford is garbage.

Agree with Mogwai. This is not a playoff team, Parker is injured, playing a spot where this team actually has odd depth. Put him on IR, let the stupid foot heal, and see what he's made of next season. What'll happen if they play him is he'll re-injure it, and we'll hear about this foot for the next 3 years until we cut him with 9 career receptions. Simple business decision here.

Why would they put him on IR?

It's not like that roster spot is going to make absolutely any difference whatsoever on how they plan on Sundays.

They should let him heal and play him as soon as he is healthy.

I think they should put Moore in there for some games though.

Let's see how the team performs with a different QB, that can throw the ball down field.

You mean when he was in there with the 4th and 5th string O-line? :d-day:

Throwing to all the guys that were cut?

Campbell on Parker: It's early in week. We're just happy to get him back in practice. We'll see how he feels@AbramsonPBP

Campbell on Parker rest of season: We still have 8 games. A lot can happen. With his skill set, faster he comes along health he has ability@AbramsonPBP
