Pre Draft Depth-Chart is extremely depressing...

http://blogs.sun-sentinel.com/sport...-offensive-depth-chart-pre-draft-version.html

Just reading this brought a sinking feeling to my stomach...

barring a miracle this is a 4-12 team at best...

the most depressing part is how terrible our receivers look, its like a practice squad team... I mean the entire offense with the exception of Jake Long looks like a practice squad...

Don't feel like it's THAT bad apart from QB and WR...we could still sign a guy like Jake Scott and then that O-line looks pretty decent.

The WR group is an obvious issue but it will be addressed in the draft.

It's a decent stable of running backs for a WCO.

I really hope we get Jake Scott. I know Garner was a replacement LT last year, but I don't want him anywhere near that offensive line. Seriously, our QBs should have pressed charges against him and Colombo in that Philly game for attempted murder.

I think Miami's Offense is going to be better than most think. The change of scheme will help but I also think some of our young guys will take the next step. IMO Wallace, Gates, and Moore all have a chance to step up and shine.

Going into the draft it isn't all that bad, but once the draft is over it will look much better. Not only from the draft picks we get, but the areas that are not addressed will likely be filled with veteran free agents. For example, if guard isn't addressed, you can expect Jake Scott or Kyle Kosier to be signed. Same will go for other positions on both sides of the ball.

We better hope those young guys bust out, or this team is in for epic failure in 2012... Other than Jake Long or Reggie Bush, there are no "name" players on offense.

Are you saying philbin is a worse coach than tony?...we should of just kept him then hugh.

If Bush and Long struggle with injuries, as they're prone to, then suddenly Matt Moore becomes the best player on that offense. That's weird.

You got to love predictions in April before the draft.

kosier will be basically the same answer as columbo

The only part extremely depressing is the WR line up and QB obviously.

I din't realize that you only win with "name players" in the NFL. THe Eagles last year went out and signed every "name" player that was available - they draft 7 spots back from the Fins.

I dont get how the Fins go from nobody wanting to play them at the end of 2011, to being so horrible in evryone's mind, in 3 months. What happened to all the enthusiasm after Philbin was hired?

As soon as we missed on Peyton Manning, everyone became pessimistic. I agree that this team lacks play makers and stuff, but I don't see 4-12.

Mine is still there but it's been dampened. Having a coach that (hopefully) won't take knees with 2 minutes left in the half, or run 3 times in a row and punt with minimal leads will make a big difference. This team better be one that goes for the jugular. It's one thing to suck, but another to suck in the most boring and predictable way possible. That's when apathy sets in.
