I'm curious how many handshake deals are already in place but not reported yet? I have a feeling that we already have some Vet O-linemen ready to sign after the draft. I think McKinnie will be back and could possibly end up being our RT. We need oline help bad and everybody expects us to take one in round one, but I think we will go impact player early. I just wonder how many handshake deals are already in place but not reported due to teams not wanting to show their hand.

Im sure there are a few out there...Not too sure about McKinnie, I don't think he's ever played that position in the past. Im thinking they will look for a starting RT in the draft.

The very idea of mckinnie returning makes me shudder with fear thinking of poor tannehills health. Awful awful tackle

:idk: A "handshake deal" doesn't really count for much in the NFL.

Post-draft, some teams will have filled the need and won't be interested in inking the player anymore. Other teams will have missed on what they wanted, and will now offer more because they're desperate.

mckinnie is done for , not to mention is just another waste of money and cap space

I wouldn't sign McKinnie. He's slow, fat, and lazy. Draft a tackle or 2 and sign Clabo as a last resort. Clabo played a lot better at the end of the season. I think the line will play a lot better regardless of who we have playing because of the upgrade to the coaching staff. Benton and Lazor will make the best of what we have and I'm very confident in their abilities. Tannehill should be better at reading blitzes and getting rid of the ball sooner as well. I saw a ton of unnecessary sacks taken by Tannehill when he could've checked it down or threw it away. We will be fine as long as we have a good draft and limit injuries.

I know it was rumored that San Diego had a handshake deal with us when we traded back to draft Odrick, but being that our previous GM was an untrustworthy and dubious shyster with scheming intelligence, I'm sure many teams were reluctant to have handshake deals with us before the draft.

I think some of the vets were notified that depending on what happens in the draft they will be brough in, but that means nothing becuase there are always too many changes that can happen. I wouldnt mind bringing back Clabo as a back up in case the rookie we draft isnt ready.
