I know the normal thing is to say pre-season games are only about being healthy but are there any players that could win spots during these games?

With this team it matters to a lot of players. There's only a few players that have their starting spot locked. On top of that, most years you're looking for the bottom 3 or 4 guys but this year you could be looking at who gets the last 10 to 12 spots on the roster.

We've already seen undrafted rookies getting starting gigs. Who outside Howard, Tunsil and Sanders is feeling all that secure about their place on this team? Would anyone be shocked if a week from now some established vet like Jones or Alonso finds themselves unemployed?
Jones and Alonzo have contracts that protect them to some extent, they would need to be traded and there contract more than likely bought down just like what we did with Tannehill to be traded.

Even next year we'll take a hit of 8mill on dead money if we cut Jones One of the worse contracts ever given out in the NFL.
