Hey, I am a Gator fan and even I know this is not a good move.
1. Miami Dolphins' halftime celebrations: Last time I checked, the Miami Hurricanes play football at Sun Life Stadium. That is why it's baffling that the Dolphins will honor the rival Florida Gators' 2008 championship team during halftime of the Dolphins-Broncos game on Oct. 23. Most Dolphin fans are Hurricane fans. So expect Tim Tebow and even current Dolphins center Mike Pouncey to get booed profusely. This won't end well. Miami is not Gator country. So the Dolphins should leave the Gators halftime celebrations to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

You know what though, I really hate the AFC East Blog now; all the other divisions have a dedicated blogger; the AFC East blogger (Tim Graham) who I used to hate, seems not to be on staff anymore; so we have an amalgamation of staff writers who don't focus on the AFC East, spewing out half witted comments; and no where near the amount of content the blog used to have.....down with Espn.com!

Yeah, the thing is that the Dolphins offered the same deal to the Canes, and they said no. So I have no problem with it. It's all about selling tickets, and if a few gator fans come down for that game in hopes of seeing Tebow and the other former gators, than why does that bother you? Especially if that's the difference between the game being blacked out or not...

I guess you could say BSPN

Tim Graham left to cover the Bills I believe. He wrote about it on twitter. He did one last mailbag article and tried to thank the fans but ESPN refused to post it.

That's fine by me. I wish Matt Williamson would become the AFC east blogger.

No he's not even doing sports now. Investigating reporting he said. But your right about ESPN taking down his last goodbye post.

Exactly how I feel. GO CANES

The thing you aren't realizing is that half of the people in Central Florida who are gators fans are also Dolphins fans. This is all about getting those people down to the game, so they can sell the remaining seats.

They offered the same deal to the Canes, and they said no...

The Phins have such a diverse fan base that I would not pigeon hole them into saying that most are Hurricane fans. I have met fans from Mexico, Puerto Rico, England, Japan, Norway(really), Chile, and every state in the contiguous U.S. I know people that are FSU, UF, and alumni of alot of other college programs. I only think that it is a bad idea to provoke such a huge Cane fan base. UF and Miami used to play home and away games in the late 70's and early 80's. I don't think that either one has much love for the other.

I agree. I live in Champaign, IL (home to the Fighting Illini, alma mater of our own Vontae Davis). While I do have a minor love of the Canes, it's only because of my love of the Miami Dolphins. Not the other way around. I dig a lot of college programs, not just one.

I live in Chicago, and just wanted to say I was at that game where you took that picture of JT intercepting Grossman. Awesome game to be at if you're a Fin fan. I took a lot of s*** that day tailgating and during the game, but as we all know Fin fans had the last laugh that day.
