Location
Bourbon Bowl
Specialists (3) - Haack, Sanders and Denney

Offense (24)
QB (2) - Rosen and Fitzpatrick
RB (4) - Drake, Ballage, Gaskin, Cox
TE (4) - Gesicki, O'Leary, Smythe, Allen
WR (5) - Stills, Parker, Grant, Butler, Williams (Albert Wilson beginning season on PUP, not confirmed but my prediction)
OL (9) - Tunsil, Deiter, Reed, Kilgore, Calhoun, Davis, Sterup, Prince, Mills

Defense
DL (8) - Harris, Carradine, Ledbetter, Woodard, Wilkins, Taylor, Godchaux, Washington
LB (8) - Baker, Kiko, McMilllan, Eguavoen, Van Ginkel, Hanks, Watson, Orchard
DB (10) - Xavien, Minkah, Needham, Armstrong, Rowe, Hartage, Smith, McDonald, Jones, Aikens

How would yours look?

All of the above minus Butler at WR and adding Ford. Minus Mills at RT, because I think they'll carry only 8 OL. They are running a DB heavy Defense, so I'll add one more the list and based on tweets from today, Wiltz and Rivers are running 2nd team, so the last spot for me is one of them.

Perhaps I have rose colored glasses on but I spy a
significant uptick in talent on this team -- specifically
YOUNG hungry talent.

With that in mind I think we will be aggressive about jettisoning
some of our "older vets" in an attempt to cash in on this upcoming
developmental year.

Problem is, as we all know -- we're tied to the boat anchor of some bad contracts.

I would like to personally thank TBum for that!

Not far from that but a few things. First, 99% sure at least two guys will make the final 53 that are NOT on the roster right now and one of those will probably be an O-line guy.I'd agree with dolphan that we'll carry at least 11 DB's and maybe one less D-line or LB.
I believe we'll carry 9 O-line guys but again, one of them is not with the team at this moment.
Good chance we trade away at least one player and keep in mind that we might wait till after week one to get a veteran so that his salary is not guaranteed.

Prior regime supposedly liked Butter, but if Williams and Parker are there can’t see him sticking. Mills isn’t really any good , question is can someone with less experience be as adequate in their eyes.

Unfortunately we are bound to have some injuries before opening day so that will change some names....

I think Miami will look to add a veteran RT through waivers before the season starts at cutdown. The good news is both Davis and Calhoun have opened up some pretty big holes over the last few days, in the run game. Wiltz is running as the nickel CB with the 1st team. I thinks it's almost a certainty he makes the team. I'm hopeful that Calhoun and Deiter can win the starting OG spots. But apparently neither stood out today at the scrimmage. Outside of Calhoun opening a few holes. They need more reps and experience. Kiko and possibly McMillan are IMO surprise cuts or traded.
