If Sterup makes the 53, Ill be a bit surprised. He looked awful last year.

I'd probably say one or two more DL instead of LB, that edge rush is pathetic. I suppose if they used him purely in that way they could class van Finkle as a DL.

Also I'd like to see Brice Butler make the cut, he played well at the back end of last year.

Pretty close to the way I see it but I think Hanks has a real chance to make it. Also, there are probably 2 or 3 guys that will make the final 53 that are NOT on the roster at this time.

Impossible to predict right now.
I guarantee you there are numerous guys not on the roster yet, that will make the final
roster.
Mostly cuts from other teams.

I would keep Smythe over O'Leary. Great blocker and can be an asset in passing game. I would have expected to keep 4 TEs until the Chandler Cox pick.

Ricardo Louis is terrible. He should not make this rebuilding roster.

Is there one position group that is top 15 in the league? Being serious. Secondary maybe? But the safety and nickel corner situations are not good.

There are still a couple of available free agents that could add some depth to a roster in the NFL and I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of them make a visit to Miami. Hopefully the Dolphins are becoming a more attractive destination for free agents and they can get guys to sign with a chance to not only make the roster but to get significant playing time.

Top 15 isn't a big hurdle - middle of league. I think safety COULD be there. QB - Rosen - could be there. Getting an average CB could get the secondary there. RBs, IMO, are there. DTs? Depends on the rook and injuries. WRs? I'm not going there, but a good OC can make the group better

Yeah i get they COULD be there, but right now there isnt a group where I'm giving a definitive yes. And like you said being top 15 isnt that big of a hurdle.

I use "could," not because I don't think they are there already, but because of the variables. To me, Jones or TJM are average SSs. Fitz is 'top', making safeties an 'above 15' group. Maybe. A lot depends on the DC, the front 7, and a few other factors. Rosen, I can say has the abilities. Again, it's coaching, but also his desire/commitment. I keep going back to Flores wanting a 'smart' QB. X is a top CB, Mccain in the slot is a little above average. Getting an average CB will make the group above #15. RBs, IMO, are there now. People lose sight of how bad some RB corps really are. DTs? Again, the rook is unknown. Getting Taylor back will help a lot. I'll concede to 'unknown,' but I'll not be surprised if the group isn't average. WRs? Again, with a REAL OC, a good scheme, and if Rosen is what some expect, this group could be better than some think. Above 15? I'm not saying that, but, at times, I could predict the routes, and I can't even spell 'reciever.'

The flip side is OL, TE, DE, LB. LB comes closest, but the others? Like most, I'm pessimistic.
