Prediction: During which week does Sporano get fired?

Every offensive skill position got speed this year. Gates, Clay, Bush. And you write your history of being a fan as it somehow lends value to your statement but it makes it so much worse when you don't even know how to spell Sparano.

Great we got Yatil Green, Ferrell Edmunds, and Aaron Craver...That is how I look at Gates, Clay and the UDFA running back - until proven otherwise. Speed is not better - better is better. So we need speed that gets us better. We need two of these 3 players to hit it as an NFL success to make a big difference and the odds are against that. It is tough to make the college/NFL transition so if you want 2 to succeed you need to acquire 6 to 8 maybe even 10 between draft, free agency and UDFA. We got 4 including Bush - who is not a realistic every down player.

So am I angry yeah. Am I excited about this team? NO. Do I hope I am wrong? Yes.

How come the Eagles can do it? Vick was there as a free agent last year, but we are so squeaky clean we cannot touch him? OR we are too polished to take a risk on Vince Young? Too rich in talent to acquire Sproles? What about the Steelers Backup Dixon? We are so rich at QB we cannot take a risk on his potential? We are to polished and clean and upstanding to get Plaxico in here? Wasn't WR James Jones up in Green Bay a free agent?

None of us "Debbie downer's" enjoy being right about the Dolphins. At the end of this season I'll be miserable about being right. It's like Adrian Monk always says: "It's a gift...and a curse." We (or at least I) can't turn off our logic centers and get onboard with this regime, because we don't think they're going to win a championship.

Great let's have that conversation: We got Reggie Bush - most likely a situational back. We drafted in the 4th round a wide receiver and picked up and UDFA running back. Daniel Thomas is a 3 yards and a cloud of dust player. Our tight end H-Back is again a late round draft pick. So do we have game changing speed in the mix that we can count on. I do not see it. This is the same offense as last year with Daniel Thomas instead of Ronnie Brown and Reggie Bush as a viable threat - IF the dude can stay healthy. Until proven otherwise all rookies are Yatil Green!

As someone who has practiced the art of salesmanship, no one appreciates an effective "implied close" where an assumptive opinion is thrown out there as fact for agreement. Kudos 2 U

Which week in the season will your head explode and/or your family, embarrassed by your tantrums, lock you away in the basement, if Sparano is not fired, let alone happens to be having a season that's as successful at home as the last one was on the road??

as soon as i read the word "situational" i gave up. I get what he is saying but a more proper perspective is that Bush will be an integral and important part of Daboll's new offense. Thomas will get the heavy load if anyone. Then again, the Patriots dont play smash mouth football. They play fake you out ball.

I think the first goal line play vs. Patriots should be the direct snap to the RB while Henne jumps up into air in shotgun pretending its a bad snap. I think with Pouncey at center this deception will work great. That is unless Pouncey does not do a bad snap to the RB.

Another thing I didnt see mentioned in this thread... Marshall said he has been working on his speed, and word is he has worked his speed back to what is was when he entered the combine.

This team has addressed many needs this offseason whether you can accept that or not....that's your problem. This organization cannot just pluck everyone they want and put them on their squad. Also, lots of big name guys just aren't a good fit in our style of play. And, you have to take into account $$, we just can't afford some players and some players think they have more value than they actually have. Our QB is average and so are the QBs for 1/2 of the 32 teams out there. Great QBs are hard to find. Where are all those fans that were screaming for Brady Quinn a few years back?? Our team has considerably upgraded this offseason at important positions. Our team has better pieces around Henne. I'll give Henne, the coach, and the rest of this team the 2011 season to prove their worth. Support them...it's so much easier than always being critical.

I just don't understand how people can write off this team before 1 snap in a game has been made. I remember this team last year beating the super bowl winning team and should of beat the other super bowl team if it wasn't for a B.S. call. I feel we have gotten better with what we have signed this off season. I am really tired of all the negativity. I think Henne will be better this year but we all will not know until we PLAY A GAME!!!!
