Prediction: July 28th NFL agreement reached. Vince Young not happening

Yeah I think that if enduro really wants to clear up doubt about the validity of his "sources" then he should go ahead and lay the FA names out. It's not as if local Miami journalists are trolling FinHeaven and ready to start naming names based on a random internet poster that claims he's connected. In fact, I recall, enduro said that exact very same thing when he originally popped up claiming that he's friends with Jeff Ireland. If you look at the original post, which I believe was about Pat Devlin, enduro said that Jeff Ireland didn't mind telling him information because he doesn't care what goes on a message board. If he doesn't care, why the secrecy about the two FA names?

So far the only thing I've seen enduro be right about is Pouncey. All credit where credit is due there, but at the time he wrote it, most mock drafts were shifting their picks toward Pouncey as well.

I'm not trying to be hard on anyone, I'm just trying to put myself in the shoes that enduro supposedly fills: I'm friends with Jeff Ireland, and I go boating with him, and he gives me his opinions on players and stuff because he doesn't care what goes on message boards, I want to give fellow Dolphins fans the information and I want them to believe me that I'm really connected with Ireland...so why would I beat around the bush? Why play the game of tricks and hints?

Personally I'm not leaning either way on whether enduro is really connected or not, which is in itself saying something (because I'd usually be dismissive by default). That could be construed as a relative vote of confidence in enduro, that I'm not totally dismissive. His current predictions about free agency are that the Dolphins will trade for Carson Palmer, but if that doesn't happen because Mike Brown is too stubborn then they'll sign Kerry Collins. I'm waiting eagerly to see if the Dolphins do indeed trade for Palmer or sign Kerry Collins, if for no other reason than to clear up enduro's credentials...or prove he's a charlatan.
 
I will still continue to beleive you have no sources and full of poopoo but man I love your prediction here. end the lockout and stay way from Young. Me Likey:)

I dont know about that, as soon as i posted my pick for our first round selection I noticed a few days later that Omar changed his pick also. I think you have beat writers trolling. Everybody is starving for information and things to write about at this time. I know that they don't have a direct line like others. lol.. I cant post who in waiting in the wings. I made a promise (and there is legal reasons on this one). If you read my past threads I am sure you will have some clues. Hang in there the fun will begin soon. Also I remember telling you it was going to be fast and furious when the free agency opens and the fins are ready to spend some big loot on difference makers. I think i seen a beat writer post that recently also... Like i said you will be more excited about the free agency period than the draft. this still holds true.
 
Pouncey was like the no 1 consensus draft pick on pretty much every board for Miami..thats like predicting tomorrow is saturday, imo.

maybe, maybe not. The two I am talking about are all but officially signed (backdoor handshake). There are 3 others that are on the hot list but not "all but offically signed" If that makes any sense. I will talk when i can....

I can promise you with 100% certainty that Omar Kelly did not pick Mike Pouncey because he saw your post.

The issue here seems to be that before you said two big moves and intimated that Palmer was one of them but you couldn't say it outright. Now you seem to be saying they'll move on Palmer PLUS sign two big free agents. I guess we'd all kind of assumed DeAngelo Williams is one of them but that's not because of anything you hinted at in the past, that was because of a separate rumor that came out months ago, before the Draft, as I recall. Omar Kelly has cited it.

I had previously been guessing you were referring to Carson Palmer and DeAngelo Williams as the two. Now it seems there's three and I have no idea who the third would be. Regardless I look forward to seeing if your Carson Palmer/Kerry Collins information was accurate. Not that I particularly like the idea of Kerry Collins in a Miami uniform!
 
Pouncey was our regimes obvious pick, I predicted that myself and I'm not connected in anyway. I guess there was a glimmer of hope our FO would change their ways but chances are it was going to be Pouncey. I'm not saying it was a bad pick but I thought it was pretty obvious. I also knew this place would be up in arsm over it.

I guess I'm saying I have a hard time basing someones connection to the fins on the Pouncey pick.

i dont look forward to that either (as a fan) but this was a emergency(plan b) option i caught wind of. I much rather like plan a. lol...
 
since you've thrown out carsons palmers name for all to see what kind of return compensation are we talking about giving the bengals in trade??? a player draft picks what???

Me too, provided Carson and his wife are actually interested, which is yet to be seen.
 
Does anybody else have the feeling that no matter what "two big free agents" we sign, enduro will tell us that those were the guys that had "backdoor deals" all along?
 
Vince young will be a dolphin. And I hope they push hard for Heath miller. Running back will be fine
