Dreamin? Who cares! My take is that the Oline will be good enough against a light, non-dominant front 4. I think we'll go single back double TE or a 3rd receiver 99% of the time. This should take out one of the bengles LBs (their strongest D unit) and replace him with a nickle back (only two candidates are rookies). The rookie that replaced Oniel last week got torched twice, and I think when he comes in as the nickle, the safeies will cheat to give hiim help, thus open up the TE. Oniel (ankle) will not be 100% if he plays. The other Starting CB is a solid player with good size, but doesnt have the wheels, and the safties are marginal. By going single back and getting a nickle back in, we'll have less bulk for the line to move in the run game coupled with no large run plagging DT to help jumpstart the run. So we reduce their best unit(LB) by 1/3 and increase their worst unit(DB) by 25%, and I think we get some early success and feed on it as confidence grows. Also, I think AJ gets the Offense pumped up with his attitude during the growing success. D will be able to play pass with a lead, which it is actually designed for.

I agree that our O isnt going to gell per say this week, but I think that the bengles D is in as much disaray as our O. The big problem with them is that it is due to a lack of talent, which is not our problem on O. I think the talent factor pays off and I think our secondary is the best in the NFL and that it will do fine against cincis good O.
