Even though I love our Dolphins, I think it will be extremely difficult pulling off a win at Pittsburgh. The biggest negative we have is our o-line. Their blitzes will end up giving us fits unless we find a way to slow them down. I do think the game will be close. I think the Steelers win by 3 points. Maybe 17-14. Hope like heck that I am wrong.

I agree that our o line with have a few problems, so i think we will be losing by half time. But I really hope that we get the first game jitters out at this point, and start to gel and take off. Im guessing we win by 3, maybe 21-18.
 
Our offensive line looked really bad in pre-season last year. Then, look how we played in the opener against a good D in Denver.

Don't go by what you saw in pre-season so far.
 
We have all the tools to counter-attack the persistent blitz... a strong mobile Qb thats hard to arm tackle.... and a passing game back that protects well and is superb out of the backfield. I'm confident that our O-line won't struggle to the point where its costing us the game.
 
I think we win by at least 10 for two reasons:

The Steelers aren't the team they were last season both because of some missing personnel (Roeth for this game, Ward not 100%, Bettis retired, no Kimo, etc) and because they seem to have a pretty lax attitude. In my opinion they are the least convincing Super Bowl winner in the last decade and they have almost no chance of repeating.

The Dolphins, by contrast, had an extremely productive offseason in terms of personnel acquisition, and training camp and pre-season games all seemed to go v. smoothly.

I could be wrong, but I just feel the two teams are mismatched right now.
 
Oh yeah, and Coach Chin is a complete moron. I forgot to mention that
 
I felt better before big Ben went down. Not sure why, but I felt like we could have kept it close and had a shot at the end. Now I feel more like their D will step up and the crowd will force our OL into a few mistakes. They will win the turnover battle, slow down Ronnie early and win 21-10.
We are not going 16-0, and when the schedule came out I had this one as one of the hardest games to win this season. We have slow LBs and if Willie gets by our Dline there is a potential for a big play.
After this game I see us going 3-1 in our first 4 games which will set up a big match up vs the pats in week 5.
Hope I'm wrong, but this is gonna be a hard one to pull out. I gotta admit though we do usually start out good and pitt has had trouble under Cowher in openers. Before the last two years I think he had been on quite a losing streak in openers. So who know maybe we could pull off a big one.
 
I do think that the Seahawks were robbed of the Superbowl Trophy last year. So, the Steelers are the "controversial champions".
 
the steelers defense won't even be a shadow of what they were last year, losing van oefflen <--? will hurt them more then they think. Rothisberger, who i think is a decent quarterback, has leadership qualities. but aside from that, this is a rushing team that will not be able to run on the dolphins. Charlie Batch is a dead man. Miami shocks the world, and blowsout the Steelers @ home. 31-0
 
Our D will show its true colors... shut down Parker, shut down Batch (not that its exactly an accomplishment to shut him down)...

I'd say Ronnie has a meidocre game, 20 rushes for 85 yards... Daunte throws for 200yds with 2TD's and one INT... we end up pulling out a 17-14 win and surprise alot of people, hopefully.....
