Is Ricky Williams allowed to play preseason games ?? or does he have to wait until his regular season suspension is over before he can touch the playing feild ??

Yes he can play in all 5 preseason games, just not the first 4 games of the season.
 
He can play and practice during the preseason. Once his suspension starts, he cannot participate with the Dolphins in any manner until the suspension is completed. He cant even be on Dolphins property unless its to receive medical treatment.

No, I think I read somewhere that they changed that rule this year, and he can be on the property, just not participate in any practices or anything.
 
This has been asked since the first rumors of Ricky's return months ago. He can play in preseason, and it will be a big deal because he won't play until week 6.

Read the CBA. Its very specific.

Any such rule change would be reflected here since this is the NFLPA site.
Also, a write up by ESPN on this year's rule changes mentions nothing about changes to suspension procedures.

It's my understanding that he CAN play in the PRESEASON, but then he must sit out the first 4 games of the regular season. Hopefully he won't slip during that period.
