I'm pumped to watch that game. I remember watching the Hall of Fame game last year on national TV. It seems like the last 3 years we've had very good reasons to watch the pre-season.

2004: Who would step up and replace Ricky? I remember Fred Russle playing very good but not getting a chance when the season started
2005: Ricky's return, Saban's Debut and although he only got 9 carries, Ronnie Brown's debut.
2006: Will he go or will he sit? The Daunte Culpepper questions finally get answerd!

Not to mention ever since Marino retired there has been a QB battle. I would always try to get excited about those, but no matter who won, our QB still sucked.

true bout hte QB situation. when there is a spot to win in that position i think its a bad thing b/c it shows uncertainty and not a great player but rather 2-3 good players. at QB, that doesnt cut it out...or not all the time that is.

Yeah I agree. Some people say quarterback controverseys are good because they generate competition and it means you do in fact have 2 solid players. Well the differnce with us, was we always had 2 mediocre quarterbacks battling it out. I agree with you, I think QB controverseys are bad for the reason you stated, it means you are uncertain at the posistion.
