Penalties, couple guys are repeating violators. Can't play for you, get you beat. Great way to start game *sarcasm* with false start.
can you say Donald Lee and Lamont "Feast or famine" Brightful for starters

Like the loss had to do with coaching.

Sigh. Some people will just never f--king get it man.

A media memeber also asked a question about todd perry possibly returning and Dave didnt comment. SO maybe he will be returning at RG???

You're kidding right?

nah theres too many injuries and too many new -- brand new -- players on this team at key positions.. I cant blame DW for Feeley practically getting picked off 7 times or Wade Smith being a turnstile all night or Lamar Gordon running for 20 yards or Palmer looking like Marino/Elway on the last drive of the game..

I know theres more to it than that and you can look deeper as to why DW can be blamed but I cant put this loss on him. I put this loss on players who didnt know what the hell they were doing and stupid mistakes... But those mistakes and cluelessness is a result of bad coaching so I guess DW AND COMPANY can be to blame. Im torn as you can see. I wouldnt fault the gameplanning though.

That would make 2 of us.

Hey man, it's like the old addage goes: the players take on the personality of their coach. Our coach is a clueless moron with a loser's mentality. And as you can see, his utterly incomprehensible level of incompetency has rubbed off on the team.

I don't know personally I think maybe the defense has been too EASY on the offense in the past few years.

I mean did you see the way the defensive players were exploding at the offensive line and other offensive members? Did you see how Randy McMichael exploded at the offensive line?

You know what? McMichael's tirade fricking WORKED. We got our touchdown after all that then got our Field Goal, and it started right at the top, right with Randy himself who made plays. The OL was playing the worst I'd ever seen them play and that is BAD...and they were EMBARRASSED. You could see it. But you know what happened? They went out there and blocked some people, after feeling that deep embarrassment and shame.

Dave has to keep the even keep steady course thing going, while letting the players rip into the offensive line and let them know this is not acceptable. This defense is NOT use to losing and they aren't going to put up with it. They aren't looking to the coach, or the front office. They are looking to the players, and I think that is a good thing right now.

I pray you're right. :)

Then he ended the press conference with something he wont get to say too many more times... well I got to go to work.:roflmao:

somehow the coaches need to figure out the problem with the OL since it was not athelic ability, i.e. Ruddy getting run over by Ted Washington. It was confusion. Is Mckinney not making the calls ? Are they guys just too confused what their counterparts will do ? Are they confused what the QB or RB will do ? Wise, Foerster and Wanne better get this straightened out b4 blitz happy Pitt comes to town or it will be equally as ugly.

It wasn't Randy's tirade that fired up the Offense. It was the Bengals playing a soft zone allowing things underneath, ala Tennesee on our only scoring drive in that game, that allowed us back in it. After that score our defense did their job and Lamont Doubtful finally did his and got us into field goal range. Remember, we only netter two yards on that last drive that ended with Mare's field goal. We actually started off going backwards and ended with a 4th and 8. Cinci played the aggresive defense again on that drive and it stunted the offense once again. Randy's tirade did nothing for the offens,e however it did show that frustration has already set in and that he may be developing into the leader we all want him to be. However, I give him no credit for the TD ( at least not on the tirade part ).
