Last year we had 58 sacks, 42 QB hits, and 131 QB hurries. How many vs the Pats to start the year off? I'm guessing 2 sacks, 3 hits, and 9 hurries.

Last year vs Pats game #2, we gave up 2, 1, and 7.

If we have more than 3 real sacks, the instant penetration kind I will be disappointed. I expect a few Tannetackles behind the line due to his movement in pocket. I will be upset if it's like last year on third downs and blitzes where it was a delensive explosion in 2 sec.

Pleeaasseeee!

The only pressure Ryan is likely to face today is that of Lauren's 'flower' in the post game celebrations.:hump:

James has looked great but, this is his first time against more complicated schemes on D, and I think he will make a couple of rookie mistakes. I also expect pressure up the gut vs our interior pass protect.

Despite the sacks, his stats were actually quite good. I think the OL has more pressure on them to protect them than he does to produce. That is IMO at least.

Whatever the amount of pressures there are, they will result in an inordinate amount of sacks per pressure. Because as we know, Tannehill is a sack taker.

I had a dream last night that RT threw 3 picks and the pats defense was ready for him. Please don't let this come true!

I expect less edge pressure, but with that new interior OL, there might be more up the gut.

Rt will continue to be a sack taker until his pocket presence improves . Its this year or never

Like to see a nice rotation on the defensive line, Mitchell, Starks and Odrick rotating and lets see more of Shelby, a very underated DE. Also I would not be afraid to turn McCain lose a few times on Brady. Time to make big plays!

PFF had Tannehill taking 3 sacks last year, and Outsiders had 0, with both watching every snap. What are you seeing that they did not?

I thinkTanny is good for 2 ints, both due to the pressure and talent at the corner position for new england. 1 int will be on the quick pass to the wide reciever at the line of scrimage and the other will be on a comeback rout for brian heartline. Reevis will probably get them both. He is one of the few corners that can afford to cheat and look into the back field and still catch you for little to no gain after the catch. The quick out to the side line will be pick 6. With all the traffic on that play, Tanny will think he has more time than he actually has due to Reevises anticipation.
