I know it doesnt mean anything but on the front page of NFL.COM they have a poll of who you think will be the Dolphins starting QB will be in 07 and of the choices they have Duante , Trent , Cleo and Quinn. Its cool to me that they include Brady as one of the possible starters for us because some one somewhere thinks we have a shot at him. I was also reading a few articles that say the Browns are in a win now stage and thats why they are making a push for Trent. Is Trent really a win now QB? If so what are we waiting for?

He Pretty Good But He Is Olddddddddddddddddddddddddd :fogey:

I say Green with Quinn as his back up. It might be a small step back, but in the long run we would be going in the right direction.

not sure how the Browns are in a "win now" mode when they were pretty bad last year. We at least have a top five defense and any improvement in offense would be huge as long as our defense stays top five.

Browns in "win now" mode is a bunch of mike.

they are in win mode because if they dont win now then romeo crennel will be fired. so its a win now to save his job not the same as miami needing to win now because of there old defense.

Yes, they are in a win now state, meaning the odds of them taking a QB before us is slim to none as they would have to go through growing pains with him and dont have the time to do so. The chances they take Peterson is high and quinn is low because of this

It is nice they have Quinn on there but I would rather or QB situation NOT be the poll on the NFL's front page.

Even if we drafted Quinn, I wouldn't want him to be the starter this year, especially early in the season. We still need a veteran, be it Daunte or someone else.

Browns | Team not likely to trade for Green
Thu, 12 Apr 2007 11:19:39 -0700
Mary Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/13/nfl">Cleveland Browns general manager Phil Savage said that it is unlikely that the Browns will trade for Kansas City Chiefs QB Trent Green.

I hope to god, if we do get green, he don't become our starter. I would love

though for him to be our backup, but that is it.

For KC to agree to a late 2nd day trade or for them to release Trent altogether.

Browns are going to pick the hometown boy Quinn. They are not in a win now mode, but he is part of the puzzle that will help the Browns out. I dont think Quinn falls to Miami.

I completely agree!! Why will they not give Cleo a shot?? The man has a good arm, mobility, and awareness on the field.

I think he may flourish if you had an o-line.
