I found this while searching the internet for pics of Roth and had never heard this had happened. I think it is pretty funny and I am glad that Saban looked past him dissing him like that

At least Nick Saban doesn't hold grudges.
If the Miami Dolphins' new coach took any offense at Matt Roth's antics before the Capital One Bowl, he put those feelings aside when selecting the defensive end from Iowa in the second round of Saturday's NFL draft.
"I've never had anything against the guy," Roth said of Saban, who was coaching Louisiana State last season. "I'm just excited that he gave me a shot."
Roth had no way of knowing Saban would be his future boss when he spoke to more than 10,000 fans at a Hawkeye Huddle on Dec. 30. The all-American from Villa Park, Ill., told the crowd he had two words for LSU - then raised his arms and raised both middle fingers.
"I would imagine even though Matt's shenanigans may have been perceived negatively by some, coach Saban probably laughed and said, 'This is my kind of guy,' " said Joe Flanagan, Roth's agent.
Roth, the 46th pick overall, was the first of three players with local ties chosen on the draft's opening day.
