From Tim Graham on who has a better chance of making the playoffs. I know it's not only down to Miami and the Jests for a Wildcard spot (I think there are 6 teams with better records than us in the Wildcard race). But it's interesting non-the-less.

New York Jets

Miami Dolphins

I bolded the six 'potential' losses for each team (JAX, CAR, and TEN will be tougher than their records show), but the records for their 6 combined 'hard games' are 32-16 and ours are 25-23.

Of course "any given Sunday" holds true, but I like our chances of having a better record than the Jets at the end of the season.

Damn, the Jets got a rough last 3 games. I dont see them winning againist ATL, Indy or Cincy.

With that being said, I think both the Fins and the Jets put themselves into too much of a hole.

The Fins losing to the Saints and Colts were killer. I really thought we were gonna win those games.

The Jets losing to the Bills and getting swept by Miami will probably bite them in the ***.

I agree, I'm willing to bet the Wildcard teams will have to have 10-6 or even 11-5 records. With Pitt/Cincy/and Baltimore all in the same division, and Houston looking good, I have a feeling the Wildcard spots will belong to two of those teams.
