This post is based solely on what I heard in my own ears and it could be interprited many differant ways, I figure it is interesting because of some grumblings that AJ was a locker room cancer. If you want a link, you are out of luck unless I get time to post a blog somewhere.

Today I was in the Davie/University Drive area, right around Nova SE University, so I decided to stop by the Dolphins ProShop to pick up a few things for Sundays(mondays?) game, and I heard some pretty interesting talk between a worker there and some front office guy(know idea who, could be a coach, could be a marketing director). Keep in mind, the people who work in the ProShop are frequently visited by players, coaches and front office people so I am sure they hear alot of inside info. The worker and the FO guy were talking, when my girlfriend asked why all the Feeley jearsys were being yanked from the shelfs. The worker asked the front office guy how AJ's going away party went, when the office guy sighed and said "you dont want to know".

For some reason, I was not getting the feeling that they were talking about an emotional, tear drenched scene. My theory, is it possible that AJ made a sceen as it has been rumored that he was very unhappy with his situation and some teamates? Okay, mabey I am reading a bit too much into this. Mabey ProShopGirl could provide some better details, though I have a feeling she must have signed a confidentiality agreement. Take this for what it is worth, but take a look at my thread history and you will see that I do not post bs rumors

im glad hes gone, wouldnt surprise me if he threw a temper tantrum on the way out and told saban where to go

Kind of interesting, but not much really there to converse about. It was prety apparent the guy was not happy riding shotgun (and then being placed in the backseat).

it also wouldnt surprise me if a division was being created in the locker room.

my impression from the comments from players in today's interviews was that they were hinting at gus' ineffectiveness as a culprit for the team's loss.

even ronnie said that he wasnt effective, in part, because the offense didnt complete the long throws.

mcmichael said that he wasnt being double-teamed, as i thought he was

chambers said that, after the game, he oversold the bucs defense. after looking at the tapes, he now sees that he was open more than he initially thought

actually, those aren't hints at all. they aren't happy with gus

good point maynard hes divided us, and im sure he divided the team. i still would rather havehad him get a **** than gus, but at least gus doesnt ***** and moan about things

i have to admit that the comments were a bit surprising. they werent the typical boring stuff. ronnie's surprised me the most

ill have to catch that tommorrow, wife sleeping now sounds interestinf, especially with the rook calling out the qb and wr ina roundabout way...

here's the quiet version:

(On why he didn’t have success with both he and Ricky Williams on the field at the same time against Tampa Bay) – “I think we had a lot of opportunities to make a lot of plays down the field with the receivers. I think there was some added emphasis on Ricky and myself. We just have to make big plays and eliminate some mistakes because we had a few key ones at the wrong time in the game.â€Â

my translation: we couldnt get anything going because the passing game couldnt do blankety blank to give us some breathing room

thanks man, its been beaten to death but its true, if our damn line would block for gus, and he could hit em, we have had recievers bare *** all over the field the past 2 games.

Maybe if the dissension had reached a point where the players wanted Feeley and Saban wanted Gus then Saban had to get rid of AJ now to show he's in charge. I would hope that wasn't the reason and that they did it for better football reasons than that

thats true. but i think this trade was good for 3 reasons: salary cap, promising QB prospect gained, and feeley baggage removed

Yeah, the thing with lemon though, and maybe I'm reading too much into it, is Saban in his press conference wasnt really "this guy is going to be great, w've wanted him for a long time" he seemed to be somewhat muted instead saying I cant really predict what will happen or something like that

Heres a link

I was hoping they really saw something in him but after reading that article I'm thinking its the salary cap and he didnt want AJ on his team and I dont think it has to do with AJs skills

it could be that he just wanted rid of AJ and he's trusting mueller on this one.
