That could have been a good play-call, if we'd called it. We're good at throwing that pass, and we're bad at picking up 1 yard against a goal line defense.

Too not even see if they were going to let you walk in, it's just off the charts unbelievable.

no ****ing kidding... most boneheaded call ever... 1 timeouts left and plenty of time to run the ball twice. Ugh

They had no business whatsoever calling that play.. None!!
 
No, Philbin would've had Lamar Miller run the ball but then he would've told Lamar to run 20 yards backwards and take a knee.
 
I'm all for poking fun at Philbin, but this blunder is on a whole other level.
 
Dumbfounded by that call. Epic fail of gargantuan proportions. 3 chances to run it in from the 2 with Marshawn Lynch and power running O Line and a good chance the defense would let you walk in. Staggering!
 
Philbin called that play....damn Pete Carroll......you just cost yourself a spot in the Hall of Fame.
 
Remeber the choke sign Carroll made against when he coached the jets? Well choke on that Petey!
 
Keep in mind that if it were incomplete, it would have stopped the clock! Running the ball was the only play call. If you don't get in, you run clock so NE would have had less time. Just shocking that anyone could be so stupid and could choke that bad as a play caller.
 
Agree with all.......most boneheaded call in history of nfl Super Bowl.... Something would do..... What's most sad is that these two teams show how far Miami is from being revelant........
