Just a FYI,

Pro Football Weekly has released it's 2006 preview magazine.
I haven't bought it yet, but they predict the Dolphins to go 10-6 and earn a wildcard spot. They also predict New England to go 10-6 and win the divison with Carolina beating Indianapolis in the Super Bowl.

I just skimmed thru it.

What preview magazines do you buy? I usually buy Pro Football Weekly and The Sporting News previews. After a while, they all start saying the same thing.

I usually buy lindys, sporting news and pro football weekly. the rest i just kind of skim over at barnes and noble and hardly ever buy any others.

I used to be addicted to those preview magazines but now I am satisfied with the info I can get on the internet.

same here.

I get Athlon's almost every year. I probably won't this year though. What info on the Fins could they have that Finheaven wouldn't have first? Plus, those mags were all printed several months ago, and their info is old. They're only good for predictions and those are usually just a repeat of the previous years standings.

I like how they rank every player by position, as well as all of the stats available at the back of PFW's preview mag. Sometimes my eyes get sore reading for long periods of time on the CPU, so in that sense, I enjoy the preview mag.

PFW breaks everything down, even on a game to game basis for each team. It is also convenient to have a mag available to you when watching preseason games, so you can put a name to an unkown number and such, especially when you are watching other teams.

All in all, I am pleased with PFW's mag, but will be taking a look at some of the ones you guys mentioned.

I always make sure to get Streets & Smiths, Lindy's, Pro Football Weekly and The Sporting News issues, and I've been getting them the last 16 years. Athlon's is good but if you notice, it's always the first issue to come out and can sometimes miss out on some updated signings or trades which can impact the pre-season forecast of the teams.

i peep street smiths. ESPN's is a joke, just like their draft guide....street smiths is a safe bet.
