Preview of SB this Thurs?

This coming Thursday will showcase in the preseason the 2 teams that will be left after the postseason. Although I think the Panthers will have an easier path than the fins (the NFC is soooo weak).

Both teams are similar (sp?) although I believe our running game is better I think their O line is better. I'd give them a very slight edge in WR's but if you add Mcmichael then I think it's a draw. On D I give them the edge on the D line just because of youth and secondary? Hey they now have Reggie Howard again - that has to be a Plus for us.

I wonder how may times Steve Smith burned him in practice.

That would be nice but I think the Phins are a year (or two) away from a Super Bowl.

I agree with you! I have been saying that it will be Carolina or Dallas against Miami in the Super Bowl.

Our secondary is a big concern. We need a year or two before we are contending.

To be honest with you, I think we're a playoff type team this year, probably not a superbowl team, but who knows, we'll see soon. Sure would be nice though

What reason do you have for making that statement? Are you extremely pesimistic or have you just been let down by the fins too much in the past? Or is it the preseaon that has you down? Because the Fins have all of the right tools to make a run this year, they also have the master builder at the helm to direct the tools to do what he needs them to do.
Why exactly are you not sure of your team?

maybe a trade is in our future to get a cornerback, cus without daniels in and with the allen brothers (will and jason) giving up touchdowns left and right our secondary will be mediocre this year at best
we should have brought in ty law or charles woodson from free agency as well
i know saban is a DB guru, but i just don't see the secondary getting the job done as of right now

I'm getting sick of seeing this. WHY?!?! Why is it impossible for this team to get hot down the stretch and win a championship. We are very good and it is defintley not impossible.
