I was just looking at the slate of games I could watch this week and I happened to run across this weeks exciting Sunday Night game. How could the 49ers and Cardinals be showcased in a Sunday Night game and the Dolphins not have ONE primetime game this season. I would really like to hear what the NFL's thought process was when choosing this game as a primetime game, lol.

Because those were the only teams they could get to play in Mexico..

They will probably sell more tickets there so its good for them...

To hell with playing a primetime game if it means having to travel to that toilet known as Mexico City. Besides, it`s only a Sunday night game, it`s not MNF. I don`t want to have to listen to McGuire and Theismann.

Ehhh... maybe so, but I cant imagine many people (other than fans of those teams) will actually tune into the game and watch it.

The game is in Mexico...the NFL coerced (sp) these two cellar dwellers to move the game to Mexico City by giving them a prime time game...

While I don't mind not having a primetime game due to the fact that they are at a less convenient time to watch, I like the electric atmosphere I used to get to see us in a night game. We usually play pretty well in Prime Time unless its against the Jets.

Listening to local news stations here in Miami, the said reason(s) were ...

1) Lack of offensive playmakers

2) Ricky Williams quit

3) 4-12 record

According to Jimmy Cefalo - channel 10 (WPLG) Sports Anchor.

primetime games are cool, if you stay awake for the whole game. im usually hungover on sunday night and pass out at 9. monday nighters suk because i have to be at work at 7 am during the week

Yep Paul Tagliabue got jealous of commissioners David Stern and Bud Selig having games in foreign countries, so he decided he had to be "worldly" and put two crap teams in Mexico for a game....I am sure all the NFL execs are there sipping margueritas along with the game crew.....but you know there will never an NFL team in Mexico...the Dallas Cowboys wouldn't allow that.

The TV/NFL execs had no understanding of Nick Sabans brilliance and the proud history of the Miami Dolphins.
