Prisco is a "D bag" top 50 no phins

theres some good names on that list.. maybe a couple were to high, but i think theres people he "just missed" that deserved it more than jake long and joey porter

Should tell you all you need to know right there. Well.....That and the fact that he had three...Count 'em...THREE guards ahead of Jake Long, yet, had Clady and Roos on the list, but not Long.

Look....Prisco loathes the Dolphins. He's a writer, and, he makes his living being an opinionated D-Bag.

Should not be on the list imo:
C Palmer, R Wayne, M Roos, C Portis, D Mcnabb,
Is this supposed to be current or including past efforts? Some of these players have not been that good for a few years now. At one time they could have been considered top players. But not now. They must have made it on their reputation.

You do realize that Portis had over 1400 yards rushing last year.
He was and is an elite back in this league. So you believe Ronnie should get mention but a 1400 yard back did not deserve his ranking. 6 of his 7 seasons have been over 1200 yards rushing

I agree with you on this point.

However, this list is laughable. This is the 50 best players in the NFL. In no world is an interior lineman more valuable than a left tackle to a team. I'm not saying those guys aren't great Guards, but, c'mon....Interior line is for guys that don't have the instincts, feet, or other measureables to play OLT or ORT. Then, toss in the fact that he puts Clady in at 16, but completely leaves Long off the list? Please.

not saying I agree with the list but for someone to criticize it and say Portis does not belong and Brown deserves mention automatically makes less sense than Prisco . No offense to the poster, just we dolphin fans wish we had a back that has been as consistently good as Portis

Do agree there. Add in that Portis has played in two systems...not just the very RB freindly Shanahan system in Denver.

Speaking of which, I will be very, very interested to see how Clady performs this year with the philosiphy change.

i think long is better but think Clady will be fine. Hell after the White pick I wish we had taken Ryan lol
