Prisco's AFC East Camp Battles

It's weird how three of his opening day starters are different from the guys he just got done saying have the edge for this reason or that. Jabari Greer has the edge, but Leodis McKelvin will be the opening day starter. Josh McCown has the edge, but John Beck will be the opening day starter. James Sanders has the edge but Brandon Merriweather will start. The only guy that has what he goes out of his way to call a "slight" edge, he has that guy as the opening starter unlike in the other examples.
 
That is a prime example of Media personality to take what everyone else says and re-package it and sell it as "his take on things". Of course that will be the most public of camp battles, I want to hear about the safties, defensive tackle/end competition. Im sick of seeing the same regurged crap over and over.
 
These sport media guys are just as bored as we are at this time of year when it comes to football. It's pointless to listen to any of this right now. It's just speculation and these guys have to sell papers and get ratings so they just keep regurgitating the same BS until we all have actual knowledge, like when the real contact starts. We all have to wait until then to get any kind of credible info. IMO.
 
Prisco is arguing about who is looking better in training camps and who, after pre-season games may win the starting role.
So by expressing that 3 players who have been looking better during training camp from 4 teams won't be starters on openning day, he implicates that this battles won't show the real starters.
