Pro bowl Ballot

Unfortunately a lot of who goes to the Pro Bowl depends on team record...the Phins will only likely have JT and Zach because we are 7-7....the Colts will probably have the most players going because of their record...that just seems to be the way they do it. RB is a great running back, but other guys have more yards and are on teams with better records. RB will be there soon though. :dolphins:

do you honestly think he deserves it?

well im sure he has more total yards than all other rookies a higher YPC and him not in the top5 and a punter over him is a joke.

Ronnie is not even in the top 5. Any thoughts?

well he's really not close to being qualified for an AFC RB. Remember, people aren't voting for rookies in particular, they are voting for the best at that position......so how many ballots would have Ronnie over:

LaDanian Tomlinson?
Larry Johnson?
Edgerrin James?
Rudi Johnson?

can you really justify putting Ronnie in over any of them??

I completely understand that.........but when these rookies are getting votes, they are being voted as the top at there position.....not just as the top rookies at their position.....when you fill out a Pro Bowl ballot....it doesn't have a section to vote for rookies. You just vote for the top 3 AFC RB's. When you look at that list, for Ronnie to get a vote....someone would have to choose him over the players I listed....and he shouldn't get votes over them.

But, with Cadillac, there's S.Alexander, Tiki Barber (who's wildy underrated and prob got overlooked by many) and then you could go many different ways between Cadillac, Warrick Dunn, Clinton Portis, Thomas Jones, or Steven Jackson. It's a lot closer there, so I would see why Cadyd would get more votes......is he going to Hawaii....I doubt it, but I see why he got more votes.

As for the Punter........he's second in his conference in gross average....which is what they show you on the selection screen....of course he's gonna get votes.
