Pro Bowl is a Joke

I hate it also...but Marshall did just catch a long td -__- I think it is worse this year than in years past as far as effort

I wouldnt care if they didnt have it...Im not watching now and never do. Im just saying I cant blame anyone for not putting their career on the line for a totally meaningless game. Football is a violent game. Its just not "safe" like baseball so you cant expect the same sort of AS game (not saying baseball is bad, Im a huge fan).

Hell, in baseball they barely give a ****. They let everyone play, change pitchers just because, ect. Its just the nature of AS games.

Lighten up guys, its suppose to be a little fun for these guys.............

Besides it usually always starts out in fun but towards the end of the game gets a little more competitive

I get a kick out of the lateral passes and onside kicks, its a change of pace
 
Skills Competition for all positions would be a GREAT alternative.And let the Winners decide where the $$$ would go for their favorite charities.It'd be AWESOME PR maneuver for teams and NFL!!!
 
It's an all star game, of course they aren't going to give their 100% effort. No one is going to risk getting hurt in this game. The NFL knows it and that's why they put in all those rules. Granted, it's not quality football but more of a show for the fans in attendance. It's still a money maker for the NFL so I doubt it's going to be scrapped.
 
They should have the 2 worst teams play in the stinker bowl before the super bowl. The quality of play would be better than the pro bowl.

Wow. I think you guys are taking the Pro Bowl a bit too seriously haha relax it's just for fun. Marshall ftw by the way!
 
Didn't they have competitions before the game during the weekend?

I could've swore they had races and hand competitions and accuracy ones as well
 
andy dalton is there...of course it's a joke...frankly i'd rather watch paint dry than watch the pro bowl...it's like watching the wnba...not in my house
