i know the Pro Bowl was last weekend, but one player we have who got robbed of playing in it imo is Lousaka Polite...the man was automatic on 3rd&short and 4th&short for us..and delivered devastating blocks to free up Ricky and even Ronnie before he got hurt again...anybody else feel this way,or am i the only one?

You're absolutely right. Randy Starks is another guy who had a Pro Bowl type year but DE in a 3-4 is a tough position to make the Pro Bowl from

Also, neither of those players are "household names". Like any All-Star/Pro Bowl game, it's hard to make it in when a lot of times it's a popularity contest.

Ya, and thats a sad part of it all. It should all be based on perfomance. Just like any job in this country.

Your 100% right, McClain that got in ahead of him isn't a fulltime FB. He plays RB as well, a definite mistake to have left a truely great FB off the list.

i'm glad to know i'm not the only one who feels this way...btw,The Man was just on NFLN...yeah that's right,i'm talking about Don Shula...

In your opinion and everyone elses who isnt isnt friends with McClain

Based on poularity. Last year CP didn't make it yet favre did.CP had way better numbers and made it to the playoffs.

you're right,it is sad...there was a time when making the Pro Bowl actually meant something, and was an honor, and it still is an honor to an extent, but now,it is a popularity contest..but still,it sux that Polite didn't get an invite when he should have...

Just look at what Mt Mckinney of the Vikings did. He had a crappy year, still was selected to the pro bowl, and latter was kicked of the team because he would rather party at South Beach than actually contribute. What does that say about this league? After college they just stop careing and trying.(Some not all)
