I think every mock draft at this point is premature and wrong until we see how people perform at the combine. If Moreno goes out and runs a 4.55 then he will not be in the top ten. The same goes for lots of the other players.

Brown will never fall to us, this is nothing but a cruel, cruel joke =(

I'll keep my fingers crossed that he does though

i know BJ Raji is good but number 5???? Hell even Haloti Ngata went 8 i believe.

His name was Glenn Dorsey....they also have tamba hali....none of which i think really fit the 3-4 their planning to run. I guess maybe at end.

last year the chiefs picked a dt at 5... i forget his name at the second tho..

Glenn Dorsey.

I would be happy with Everette Brown. But there's a name I'm surprised that slipped so far in this mock, Brian Orakpo. That kid has some serious credentials (All American, Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, etc.). Even if Brown was gone, Orakpo would more than make up for it if he was at 25.

9. Green Bay Packers: Hakeem Nicks, receiver, North Carolina.
11. Buffalo Bills: Jeremy Maclin, receiver, Missouri.
12. Denver Broncos: Michael Crabtree, receiver, Texas Tech.

Uh, Crabtree as the 3rd WR taken in the draft? Really?

I have a feeling that someone at Pro Football Talk is an optimistic and possibly delusional Broncos fan.

I have a strange feeling that Cushing will be drafted higher than Brown and that could be a good reason why he would drop to us. Unless Pats pick him up before he gets to us.

From top to bottom this is possibly the worst mock draft I have seen this year.

If it works out that way, that would be a FANTASTIC first round for the Lions...grabbing the best QB and RB in the draft. Lord knows they need help and I'd like to see them be able to turn things around. I really feel for them after the fiasco we went through in 2007.

I think Ngata went 12h or 13th. I just can't see Brown falling to us, I definitely dont see Orakpo falling to #29, to answer the original question I am going to say yes on the crack pipe for Florio
