DAVIE, Fla. -- It's time for
Jonathan Martin to leave the Miami Dolphins. Miami's locker room has spoken -- and it sided with Richie Incognito.

How do you explain the wild turn of events within the Dolphins on Wednesday?

Surprising? Unique? Bizzare?

Player after player offered overwhelming support for Incognito, who, on Sunday night, was suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team after Martin's representatives presented evidence of harassment and misconduct to the Dolphins, the NFL and the NFLPA.

It was clear in Miami's locker room that Martin -- not Incognito -- is viewed as the villain in this strange and twisted saga.

Martin walked out on the team before a big game due to a lunchroom prank.

Martin is thin-skinned and cannot handle the rugged and macho NFL culture.

Martin betrayed a veteran leader who was showing tough love.

Martin was a turncoat who caused a media firestorm and full-scale investigation of the team at an important part of its season.

well thats all cool n all but guess what, its not up to dolphins players who stays and goes. If Philbin and ross decide martin can return and richie cant, they better accept it and deal with it or they will be joining richie at the unemployment line real quick.

Philbin/Ireland/Ross will fire all the players, and build a new team around Jonathan Martin?

dude, your nuts if u think every player on this team is willing to sacrifice millions of dollars for richie incognito. Sure they have been supportive, but thats where it ends. Like i said, ross, philbin, are in charge of personnel. Now the players can speak out, give the opinions ect but they hold no authority at all. If they plan on retaliation, well thats going to hurt there pockets because the nfl has already warned on the team on that.

The team is currently unified. That's usually a good thing in professional sports.

Philbin/Ireland/Ross are going to force a poisonous element into the locker room? I doubt it.

As I said on another thread, my objective prediction is that both Jonathan Martin's and Richie Incognito's careers in Miami are finished (for different reasons).

That's my prediction as well, Cog will get the axe because he's already guilty in the court of public opinion, and who in that lockerroom is gonna trust Martin after this?

IMO Martin dosent WONT TO COME BACK to no team he is done , not fit for the NFL , and even if he did want to come back , tell me if it was you that stirred all this up , would you want to walk back into a locker room ? I Think Richie gets his chance to come back but Martin is done with Football that just my 2 cents .

Martin made no room for Martin. He does not want to play anymore.

Martin won't return to the Dolphins or the NFL. He's looking at a settlement on the Voice Mail alone. IMHO we've seen the last of both Martin and Incognito as Dolphin Players. Cog's will find work outside of Football, if he hasn't already started planning for life after the NFL. Martin on the other hand will retire after he receives his cash settlement and live life back in CA with his family.

from what ive heard out of all this i just dont think its enough to kick a player out of football for good , from all the witness saying Cog wasnt like that in the locker room , and if all they have is what Cog said on the phone , i just cant see it being enough to terminate a player from the NFL , like Hartline said , that he has said stuff to friends that was all in good fun , some he would like to take back , but it was more into good fun than being serious and i just think that Cog was more or less just playing around and having fun , but it may cost him , some people take stuff alot more serious than others ...but we shall see .

Players around the league may not say it openly, but you can be assured that Martin won't be accepted with "open arms" anywhere in the NFL.

He broke ranks. He broke code.

He didn't do the one thing you're supposed to do. Keep it in house.
