We have a head coach who never managed a game. Even as a coordinator Mike Mcarthy called the plays and managed the offense. Kevin Coyle was a DB coach and Lazor was. QB coach. The fact that none of these guys ever managed an NFL game comes through loud and clear. The QB play shows that as well. These guys are so focused on proving themselves right with Tanehill that no one bothered to teach him to manage a game first then try and develop him into an elite QB.

There are no adjustments to slow down the opponents rush, we attempted 1 screen? Tanehill is never ready to toss the ball to his safety valve receiver or is there ever one in the play? The screens they have run are poorly executed with the back not even slipping off a block, rather the RB goes right into the route allowing the D to react quickly and blow the play up.

The defense gets a safety we are in position to take a lead with 2nd and 1 then we decide to play action twice instead of continue the drive and get the first down? Why do we attack when we need to sustain a drive, kill the clock, get the D some rest and take the lead? Where are the shots needed to be taken in the beginning of the game spreading the field when we are not behind by double didgets?

Bad wind conditions with a 4th and 1 in a 0-0 game and we attempt a 50 yard field goal and give up the battle of field position? Andy Ried knew the wind was a factor and in his kickers head from warm ups so he goes for it on 4th and 1 instead of giving up field position to the Dolphins. No time outs used in the 2 min drill after the long completion to give us 3 shots at the end zone?

Bottom line the coaches don't know how to manage a game and deflate the entire team by placing them in horrible positions and that's all this QB knows. It's a circus act out there and it starts with the 3 amigos Philbin, Coyle and Lazor. Time to regroup and get some pros out there to coach up this talent!

I think you raise a good point about the 50 yard FG attempt. But please, my friend, hit the enter key to break up your thoughts into paragraphs. When reading on a phone, tablet, or even desktop monitor, the run wall of text can be difficult to parse.

I get tired of blaming coaches.

Haven't the LBs improved? Even with Trusnick being a bum they've been better. What happened? got a new LB coach. Why doesn't he get praise?

Hasn't the oline w/o Pouncey done a solid job so far? Yes, because of Benton who is a good oline coach. Where is his praise?

It's not the coaches fault the players at there disposal suck, If Tannehill was a better qb we eouldn't be here making threads about the team being ****ty, instead we'd be talking playoffs. It's not always coaches when the players can't execute the simple plays they call.

Did you see the LB's play the past two weeks? These guys don't even practice the fundamentals of wrapping up when they tackle. They are getting run all over and can't cover William the Refrigerator Perry! The O line has given up 4 plus sacks the past two games, you think the O Line and LB coaches deserve credit? I think you may have been watching the replay of the New England Game while I was watching Buffalo and Kansas City dominate those two units.

Kacy Rodgers is a great defensive line coach. Other than that meh. The rest suck

Amen bro. Decent QB play and none of this bitching is going on right now.

It's laughable that anyone can come to the conclusion that because of a good OL and LB coach there are no issues with the coaching staff. News flash. Philbin, Lazor and Coyle are not good coaches. The team plays with no emotion and looks unprepared. Every aspect of the team is broken. Special Teams, Defense and Offense.

The coaches are not missing the tackles, dropping the passes, standing in the pocket too long, or missing the throws. The coaching criticism lately is pure nitpicking.

It would be nice if the coaches were the problem because they are more easily replaced than all the players. But sometimes players will just be bad regardless of the coaching. And moreover we can clearly see the problem is the poor execution. The opportunities are there, constantly. The players are not executing.

When did anyone come to that conclusion?
