I haven't posted much in these forums but been a lurker for a long time. There are many things that bug me about this forum but maybe some of you guys are still learning about the NFL. Here are some issues...
1. I hate how once someone is released, someone posts that we should sign them. It could be the biggest scrub or some washed up vet.
2. I hate how once a player from another team requests a trade then this forum starts going wild throwing out unrealistic trade offers.
3. I hate it when we overvalue our own guys. We expect high draft choices for players that do not deserve it. (example someone suggested we traded Zach Thomas for a high draft pick instead of cutting him...obviousuly Parcells would have thought about that)
4. Complaining about how we are overpaying for rookies when it is not our fault. It's a faulty system where the prices for rookie contracts go up every year.
5. Jumping on and off the wagon on some players after a couple of games.
6. Unnecessary posts when there are like 3 or 4 threads open already on the same topic.
okay I'm sure I'm going to get flamed but I just had to say it. Please think before you post and react to threads. Don't get me wrong...there are some knowledgeable fans in here..anyway have a good day.
