Hey Guys. I have been comming down from NJ for about 20 years and never pre-purchased tickets. Always had no problem buying tickets outside before the game. Last year, decided to go down with my girlfriend, who is a Giants fan, to the Giants game. I bought 2 tix from a scalper outside for over $200.00 a pop. (I have a great gf. lol) Anyway, as we are going into what I believe is one of the premium lounges, the tickets (printed at home) did not scan. F#CK! We get in thanks to the kindness of a supervisor and go to our lower level sideline recliners, only to discover that of course someone in our seats. Long story short, I was ripped off.
I realize that they took away many seats in the upper deck. My question, has anyone else had this problem? Do you find that tickets are much harder to get now? For those who go each week, is it now sold out every week? I never had so much trouble finding tickets before the game, and never before got ripped off.:bobdole:

That's the chance you take with scalpers. There is a ticket booth at the stadium. Good luck either way you decide.

Ouch, sorry to hear that man.

Unfortunately, you can't trust scalpers anymore. Actually, buying from anywhere outside of the approved NFL ticket exchange program is a risk.

Stick to Ticket Master Ticket Exchange. Or even stub hub worst case (make sure its automatic downloads only, none of that UPS crap).

If they post a picture of the ticket and barcode online assume the ticket is compromised. Scammers can use the barcode from a picture and steal the ticket.

A lot of the scalpers also use stolen debit and credit cards to purchase their tickets so when you buy from them it's more than likely your purchasing stolen goods as well.

It's usually not the scalpers themselves that create the counterfeit tickets, it's people who sell them those tickets there. The scalpers are really just market makers, they buy tickets from fans super cheap and then resell them at a profit. Chances are, someone made two copies of their own tickets and just sold them to two different scalpers. Those scalpers are usually regulars and go to each game, they do not want to partake in counterfeit tickets any more than you do.

That's the problem with these e-tickets. With the physical tickets you always knew you were good to go. I would stick with legitimate websites, at least you know you'll get a refund if it doesn't work out.

Yeah my friend had something similar happen to him at a baseball game last year. The scalper sold him a ticket to a game the day before. They were still in a series with the team so everything matched up except the date... My friend was pissssssed but i mean he knew he was taking a risk and he didn't bother to check the date himself either so

The days of the scalpers are counted. Stay with ticketmaster. It's a legit resale sight as well.

Just a word of advice:
Tickets even on resale are flexible. A lot of ticketholders put a base price in and let the market adjust. If the Dolphins suck you may get lucky and they all lower their prices. But I would recommend to buy as early as possible.

Oh one more thing: if a club level and above is sold under value it is a rip off. As a season ticket holder you cannot even put a price below face value in. I believe the recliner you are talking about is the 72Club. I think those seats are listed at $1000.

The Club we were in was fantastic! Giant screens on all the walls. Chefs cooking food in front of you. They handed us a wristband to wear going in. You exited and were very very close to the field. I don't know the name of the club but it was impressive. I wish we were able to use those seats. Very nice for those who can afford it!

You can but tickets from people on Craig's list
