The two things that stand out to me are Incognito rated higher than I would have expected and Olivier Vernon rated much lower than I expected. I'm not as enamored with the sack numbers Vernon had as much as most but I thought he was solid for the most part even without the sacks.

Vernon was actually a -7.5 in pass rushing while Cam Wake was +27.7. Vernon may have had 11 sacks but he only had 5 QB Hits, & 32 QB Hurries in 929 snaps. Wake had 10 sacks, 20 QB Hits, & 41 QB Hurries in 694 snaps.

Well done. For those not familiar with PFF, their overall grades include a number of things. This is a short sampling of our DL to add to SM's OP. Sorry it did not fit well, and I'm not any good at making it fit. If anyone wants to redo this for an easier read, please do so. :)

According to PFF, our 3 top FA pick ups (Wheeler, Ellerbe & Wallace) were the just about the worst players on the team at their respective positions. Seems about right.

Thanks a ton, Ireland. Sheesh!

This is kinda funny but PFF includes a grade for penalties (which makes sense to me), and Cog's overall grade includes a plus 2.2 for having ZERO penalties. Hard to believe. :)

meh...starks the highest rated player on the team doesn't jive for me

Don't know how anyone can dispute that for overall play by all three for the year. However, we can all hope that they revert back to how they played before, and this was a year of adjustment. It has happened many a time.

Who would you put there? I'm guessing it will be Grimes. If so, I tend to agree but, position does make a difference in importance.
