I agree 100% with this one.

I think the majority of the team is set barring injuries. Still to be concluded I would think are RG, SOLB (could'nt have imagined that this time last week) and both the second reciever and corner positions.

I think the Camarillo/Bess/Ginn tandem will be the hardest to pick.

I don't see how you can pick the top 2 between the three of them. Other than that RG/RCB is up in the air... otherwise our starters are already set.

I think camarillo will be #2. bess steped it up when needed but is best fit as the slot rec.

Bess does not have the speed or physical stature of a #2 WR. He can get the job done in a pinch but he isn't the type of guy you want as your #2 WR full time. I think its Cam or Turner depending on how Cams knee is holding up.

Pretty much all the same except at 2nd WR (Ginn obviously is a starter), 2nd CB (Will Allen is obviously a starter) and the most wide open at RG . . . where who knows who is going to start there . . . Murphy, Thomas, Berger, Alleman, Ndukwe, Garner . . . its a crap shoot for sure. One of the DE spots could be challenged, but I think Sparano said it best about Starks coming off the bench, because he provides a great 3rd down pass rush, and he defends the run well. That DLine will be fresh, because we have alot of QUALITY depth on it right now. The first and second team will get plenty of action in the game. I still expect Roth to start if healthy.

If I had to guess, I would say Camarillo starts with Bess getting plenty of action in the slot and Turner on 3rd down and redzone sets, Vontae Davis starts . . . with Sean Smith seeing plenty of action at the nickel and Donald Thomas finds his way back into the starting lineup at RG.

Bess will continue his roll as the primary punt returner, with Ginn getting occasional work and Ginn and Cobbs on the kickoff returns.

Bess helped our offense a lot toward the end of last year. I attribute almost all our improvement on 3rd & long to Bess stepping up. He's much quicker than Cam.

If Turner continues to improve, he could well take that position, though. But, if I were a betting man, I'd say we start the year with Bess at the 2-spot. When Cam comes in, I see Bess sliding inside.

I'm really glad that Murphy is coming on. I hope Thomas is healthy enough to battle for that spot - so that there really is a competition. I think Roth still has a good shot at starting as our SOLB. I also see our DE position as situational. I'd think that Starks and McDaniel would play more on obvious running downs. I do think that Starks is our best DE as of right now. I see Davis starting the year at CB. I wonder if on Nickel packages they have Allen move inside, allowing the young bigger CB's to take the outside. It also sounds like Green is playing a little better, but I don't expect him to hold off the talent of Davis or Smith. Perhaps he could be a great Dime back.

You pretty much nailed it, only question would be the RG spot, Still a wait and see if Thomas reclaims his spot or Murphy holds him off.
