As much as I absolutely hate these type of things….. I made one:lol: . It’s very early in the year and I’m bound to be extremely wrong, but I was bored so w/e. Enjoy and let me know what you all think.

Special Teams:

Free Agency:

Asante Samuel: My only real big target, this is very much up in the air because of the money he would get. This signing would help the secondary out tremendously. It gives us that playmaker we so desperately need.

Corey Redding, Had a great year for the Lions. He played DT but is more a DE naturally, he would rotate with Matt Roth and even challenge him for the starting spot. Id be very excited if we were to acquire Redding. He is a very high motor guy, and never gives up on a play. We have learned from the Patriots that you need a lot of talented guys to rotate in your defensive line, Redding would help give us that.

Terdell Sands:
The defensive tackle entered his fifth NFL season without much fanfare. He was stuck behind other players, and hadn’t been thought of as an impact player by most. However, the former Chattanooga player has shined when given the opportunity. One reason that Sands has been effective is his size. Standing 6’7" and weighing 335 pounds, Sands is enormous, and difficult to take out of a play. His height allows him to bat down passes if he cannot get penetration, and he has developed a decent awareness of where the ball is. In non-starter minutes, he reached his career high in tackles, and earned more and more time each week as he proved he could be a force. The Raider will be well-served to sign him to an extension, but Sands might look elsewhere if Oakland won’t guarantee him more playing time.

Others FA: Tyrone Carter, Randell Godfey, Kris Dielman.

Draft
Round 1- Levi Brown (LT)
Round 2- Ryan Kalil (C)
Round 3- Brandon Siler (LB)
Round 4- David Ball (WR)
Round 6- Jordan Palmer (QB)
Round 7- Justin Medlock (K)

Now if I counted correctly there are 49 players so we do have some space to sign more guys.

I like the Palmer signing, but I'd rather see Kevin Kolb in the 3rd or 4th if he's still avaliable. Also dont want to see our first 2 picks go to the OL, even though we need it. I think a pick on an OL and then a pick on a playmaker would be better.

I was taking the Jets way of thinking with last years draft. Everything starts upfront and they now have two pieces to a very good offensive line in the making. Im praying to god we get Kalil in the second. I wouldent be disapointed with Tedd Ginn in the first but i absolutely would love Kalil in the second.

Samuel may very well be too expensive for us. I think we need to pursue him and try and sell the Dolphins to him and maybe get him for a little less than most would expect. I put minor there and not morris because Morris is set to become a FA and actually had a agreemnt with Seatle before the season but they backed away because of his 4 game suspension.

i just love how people think we will get asante samuel..:sidelol: sry it makes me laugh:
1. Why would the Patriots give up a top 5 corner, especially a young one
2. He is WAY to rich for us
3. He most likely wont like the DB system

Again... Samuel is probably too far out of our price range. I will bet you that the Patriots do NOT retain him because of said salary issues. How do you know he wont like the DB system? What about it wont he like? What about him suggest he wont adjust if our system and the Patriots, are a bit different?

its VERY VERY complex and im gonna keep saying it we dont have the $$$, unless we plan on just signing our 7th round draft pick. If the Pats let him go, i will shoot myself

its very hard these days to find a good corner. Samuel is one of the best. you dont just give up a player. if he does get released im sure he will look for teams that are proven winners

Im sorry bro, but you have just lost all credibility. We have the 9th pick. I was also expecting something a little more less subjective than "its complicated". What leads you to believe that the Patriots isnt as if not more complicated? and he's not dumb btw.

I like the Brandon Siler pick i just dont think Cam Cam will pass up on a WR in the first round if we dont aquire one via Free agency/Trade
