Asante Samuel: My only real big target, this is very much up in the air because of the money he would get. This signing would help the secondary out tremendously. It gives us that playmaker we so desperately need.
Corey Redding, Had a great year for the Lions. He played DT but is more a DE naturally, he would rotate with Matt Roth and even challenge him for the starting spot. Id be very excited if we were to acquire Redding. He is a very high motor guy, and never gives up on a play. We have learned from the Patriots that you need a lot of talented guys to rotate in your defensive line, Redding would help give us that.
Terdell Sands:
Others FA: Tyrone Carter, Randell Godfey, Kris Dielman.
Draft
Round 1- Levi Brown (LT)
Round 2- Ryan Kalil (C)
Round 3- Brandon Siler (LB)
Round 4- David Ball (WR)
Round 6- Jordan Palmer (QB)
Round 7- Justin Medlock (K)
Now if I counted correctly there are 49 players so we do have some space to sign more guys.

Terdell Sands:
The defensive tackle entered his fifth NFL season without much fanfare. He was stuck behind other players, and hadn’t been thought of as an impact player by most. However, the former Chattanooga player has shined when given the opportunity. One reason that Sands has been effective is his size. Standing 6’7" and weighing 335 pounds, Sands is enormous, and difficult to take out of a play. His height allows him to bat down passes if he cannot get penetration, and he has developed a decent awareness of where the ball is. In non-starter minutes, he reached his career high in tackles, and earned more and more time each week as he proved he could be a force. The Raider will be well-served to sign him to an extension, but Sands might look elsewhere if Oakland won’t guarantee him more playing time.
Others FA: Tyrone Carter, Randell Godfey, Kris Dielman.
