QB........Ryan Tannehill...Matt Moore...Pat Devlin...(Assuming Garrard retires)

RB.......Reggie Bush....Daniel Thomas(traded for a 3rd before the deadline)...Jerome Messam...Lamar Miller....Jonas Gray(pup)
Not saying there is anything wrong with DT or that he doesn't have a good future, I just like the other 4 a lot.

FB.......Charles Clay

WR......Roberto Wallace...Davonne Bess...Brian Hartline...Clyde Gates....Legadu Naanee...Rishard Matthews.

I have no idea how the WR situation is really going to turn out. I put Wallace first because I think he is really underappreciated on this site. Obviously, Naanee,Hartline and Bess have the most experience.

Chris Hogan..............WR

Josh Samuda...........OG

Cameron Collins.......LB(This is my favorite to make the active roster later on)

Trenton Hughes......CB

Dustin Waldron.......OT

Matt Moore,Richie Incognito,Tony McDaniel,Trusnik, and Hartline all walk. The rest of the significant FA's resigned.

2013 Mock Draft:

Dolphins spend their 2013 2nd round pick on Baccari Rambo in the 2012 supplemental draft.

1st........Margus Hunt........DE/DT.....Total freak of nature. Might be an extraterrestrial.

2nd....Trading two 3rd's to move up into the 2nd round.(from the Thomas and Marshall trades)...Aaron Mellette...WR

3rd.......Malliciah Goodman.....DE/OLB

4th.......Tanner Hawkinson.....OT/OG

7th........Marquis Goodwin .....WR

By the way, as far as the Rambo thing goes I believe the brownie story, and I usually call bs on that stuff right away. A second for a guy with a potential drug problem is usually unthinkable for me, but in this case I would do it, if, of course, he does declare for the supplemental.

Elliot, where´s BJ Cunningham??

In a similar place as Marlon Moore. There are only so many roster spots. I think Matthews makes the roster ahead of him and Moore, but at the same time he would probably catch on somewhere else rather than the Dolphins practice squad, and I don't think Marlon Moore is PS eligible any longer.

The guy he would have to directly compete with IMO is Legedu Naanee, and Naanee is just too athletic and experienced to get beat out by a slow rookie. Wallace is too strong and athletic and extremely valuable on ST's to get challenged by him either. Gates is too loaded with potential to cut. Hartline and Bess are shoe-ins.

However, somebody could get injured in or before camp and change things.

I don't see Fuller overcoming the drops. I doubt he ever makes the active roster.

The main thing I'm boggled by is Garrard. Why would he retire if we just signed him?

Part of me thinks he'll be back at Georgia. But that'd be sweet to land him

He is getting on in age and has chronic back problems. I'm sure if he won the starting job he would try to play through the pain. I think he is going to end up #3 with Tannehill starting and Moore #2.

I doubt he would risk further injury and play through the preseason if his back starts to bother him, just to secure a #3 QB job. I guess if he feels really good he might hang on and hope for a trade before the deadline to a team that loses their starter.

i was going to say the exact same thing.. messam to FB, thomas sticks on roster. clay to TE and we carry 4 TE's thats what philbin will want.

I think Nate Garner will be the back up center. Richie Incognito can play center too. No need to add Terrance Brown.
Turner over Cunningham? I do not see that happening. Cunningham will make the team, and Turner will not make the practice squad.
He was just signed to give Tannehill some friends and familiar faces in the locker room. That will end in the preseason.

-Matt Moore is the likely starter. Gerrard wont retire. He has too much to prove to himself. Devlin will go to the PS where he belongs (and then he will be off the team in 2013 as he wont be practice squad eligible)
-Hopefully Thomas is traded for whatever we can get.
-Clay will be a TE, not FB. Messam will be the FB
-Wallace as a starting WR is a joke. Hartline-Bess-Naanee-Gates/Wallace
-Martin will be the starting RT and wont be anywhere near the left side
-I dont think Trusnik makes the team. He has no LB or ST value.
-BJ Cunningham at the least will go to the PS.
Where's the RG position? Garner should start (or be given a chance to start) there. He is the best RG we have as of right now.
Where's John Jerry? Think he gets cut?

The rest, I somewhat agree with.

Gads! Totally left out RG. Thanks for noticing. I would have had Jerry starting. I'm not sure Garner is going to fit the new scheme.

I see Incognito walking after this year. It will all depend on how Brown looks in camp. I expect him to see a lot of snaps in preseason.

Clay was pretty much a TE last year as well, and you can call Messam a FB if you want but he will never be a traditional FB. He is a FB like Marcel Reese is a FB in Oakland.

BJ Cunningham was 6th round pick with a an impressive body of work. If he doesn't make the 53, I don't see him making it to the PS, another team will sign him and put him on their 53. I don't think BJ has a snowball's chance in helll of beating out Richard Matthews. Just my opinion.

Clay has recently called himself an H-Back, and so has Philbin recently. ALso, Omar kelly has specifically referred to "the vision for the charles clay or whoever plays H-Back in this offense" i think whether Clay is listed as a TE or FB, it wont make a big difference as far as roster spots etc. He may be listed as FB or TE but he is not truly either one - i think Egnew was drafted to be the "Tight End" after Fasano either for a while or after this season if Fasano walks. Im not sure they see Clay as a true TE.
