How does the projected 2nd Talent compare to years past?

Based on Randy's History of late picks, this has to be a concern. We have a lot of late picks so it will be a throw everything at the wall and see what sticks attitude but is there more 2nd day talent this year?

i think this draft is very deep...I am not an expert by any means...But I know there are going to be some very good players around when we pick in the third and probally even the fourth round...after that im not really sure...

Dallas Startz LB USC in the 3rd or 4th.... Good Speed, intelligent, Special Teams ace. Could replace Spragan in 2008!

You wanna use a 3rd or 4th to replace our backup OLB next year??? :err:

With all these rumors about Brandon Siler slipping to the 4th-5th round I think he could be a huge steal.

He's good second day talent, not necessarily saying the Fins would pick him up.... Startz projects as a better LB than Spragen, Pope or anybody aside from our starting tandem! HB Blades is a better pick than B. Siler in the 4th - 5th rounds.... Take it easy :cooldude:

I like Blades as well. I'm surprised he's not projected higher.

The pick up of Porter and Spragan allows us to push drafting a LB back at least a year. If there is value in the 6th or 7th though, we should jump on a LB
