Projected Depth Chart Alex Marvez

Looks almost dead-on.

I wonder if Wilkinson gets signed how that would change the d-line situation.

My biggest concern is back-up center; if Rex goes down Wade Smith will be our line's downfall. Hopefully a guy like Joe Berger can make the transition to a quality back-up center. Either that or we'd sign an older veteran as an emergency center.

I think if Wilkinson signs, they will keep 10 d-lineman. As far as back-up center, the way Saban talked about Joe Berger in his PC, sounds like he will move up the depth chart soon. Maybe replacing Wade Smith.

I think three more games like the one this Saturday, and Fred Beasley isn't as sure a bet as people think. A 97 madden rating doesn't suffice as a reason to keep a guy around when he's being flat out-played by someone else.

Not sure if Eddie Jackson is likely to stick or if Michael Lehan will beat him.

I've been waiting to here something on Berger. He was a beast up here as a rookie and alot of Panther fans was surprised he was put on the PS where we got him. I predicted he would end up starting for us and I am glad their is finally some news on him.

Love him or hate him, Seth McKinney was a good back-up center behind Rex. He knew the offense and performed much better last season than his previous ones.

The TE situation is dead-on also. We need to bring in a veteran because Teyo, Heinrich, and Rader aren't going to be quality guys in case #81 goes down which would obviously put too much pressure on Peele, who is more the blocker.

The WR spot is also intriguing but frustrating; I'd go go with 6 WRs: Chambers, Booker, Welker, Hagan, Vick, and Russell. Then I would hope Aromashodu clears waivers and gets on our Practice Squad along with Fred Gibson for his size and potential, and Jason Willis. I also hope Riggs, Jr. makes the PS because he's got the pedigree and I can see him being valuable in case any of our tailbacks go down.

My 56 man roster (I just couldn't choose the 3 to leave off!):

QB- Culpepper Harrington Lemon
HB- Brown Morris Minor K.Harris
FB- Beasley Barnes
WR-Chambers Booker Welker Hagan Russell Vick
TE- McMichael Peele Rader(at this point)
OT- Shelton Carey McIntosh Alabi
C/G-Hadnot James Anderson Toledo Berger

K- Mare
P- Jones
LS-Denney

DL- Taylor Carter Bowens Roth Traylor Holliday Zgonina Evans Vickerson (and BTW it looks) Wilkinson
LB- Thomas Crowder Spragan Hodge Pope Newman
DB- Daniels W.Allen Goodman Jackson Hill J.Allen Tillman Bell Cooper Lehan

I think that's 56 guys. The likely 3 cuts would be a WR (Russell), a DB (Cooper), and the 3rd could be Vickerson at DL or someone on OL. Then there could possibly be some surprise moves which would be what I'll call "stretches": carry only 1 true FB and cut FB Barnes, or carry only 2 true TEs, and another stretch which would be carrying only 5 LBs since Taylor and Bowens can both play the position in the 3-4.

Guys who most likely and definitely won't survive final cuts: QB Berlin, RB Riggs Jr., WR Willis, WR Campbell, WR Murphy, TE Heinrich, TE Johnson, TE Rader, OT O.Thompson, OL Pape, C/G W.Smith, G Akah, G Brooks, DT Shaw, DT Green, NT Fifita, DE Ishkola, LB Harris, LB Sinclair, LB McGrew, LB Bray, S Hunt, S Shabazz, CB Thomas, CB Mitchell, and P Olmsted and K Kimrin.

I may have left out some but after one game and not even getting to watch it,(I was planning on knapping while the Bucs Cheerleading crap was on but I ended up sleeping and waking up just in time for the damn Bills game. Nice watching their 1st string struggle though from what I remember) all I had to go by was depth charts and the play-by-play of the game on Game Center.

Yeah I agree, that one play where Wade caused the turnover I about fell out of my chair laughing. He turned to his right and blocked the RG. I have never seen anything like it. If you have the game on tivo go back and look at it. That is TOO funny.
He should be a goner from that play alone. lmao They show that play again at half with a better angle and you can see where he blocks the RG.

I agree with that CK. D. Barnes looked like a man posessed in that game. He was killin people!

Do you mean the fumbled snap? Because let me tell you that fumbled snap wasn't Wade Smith's fault. Boselli looked at the snap and said yeah the snap appeared to be right where it needed to be, Harrington just flubbed it.

I don't know if the snap was his fault or the QB but what the hell was he doing after the snap? Looked like he turned and ran straight into the guard.
