1 to 10 percent: Mike Pouncey's path to the All-Pro team has been blocked, coincidentally, by brother Maurkice. ... Cameron Wake's outside shot at a Hall of Fame nod probably ended with last year's Achilles injury. Wake has been as impactful on the field as anybody in football, but his time in the CFL kept him out of the league until his age-27 season. ... With 96 sacks to his name, Mario Williams could stick around for five more years and probably make it past 130 sacks, but given his reported lack of love in football, what are the chances he plays into his late 30s?

Ndamukong Suh, despite whatever controversies might surround him for after-the-whistle behavior, is a phenomenal football player. He has already been a first-team All-Pro three times in six seasons and barely misses any time; the only regular-season games he has missed during his pro career were via suspension. The furor over his post-play activities will fade and turn into a charming relic of the past. It would be an upset if he didn't march into Canton.75 percent

Surprised Jarvis didn't sneak on this list.

Jones 7 seasons doesn't know what a winning record feels like, and ultimately that hurts Cam Wake as well. Cam Wake is out of the conversation in my eyes, Jones has a very tiny chance due to his youth.

Only other guy would be Tannehill, if he starts experiencing team success. Statistically he is one of the most statistical QBs over the first four years of a career to play the game.

Parker has that big play ability to be apart of this, but I can see why you cant touch mentioning him on a list like this right now.

Can't really disagree with the list. We have known for awhile that this team has failed to optain elite talent. Landry is an interesting thought, if he manages to stay healthy and continue to produce (and we see some team success) he could be a bubble guy.

As much as I love a lot of our players, HOF is a reach even for Landry. Suh, yes; Wake as deserving as any DE that is in there but got a late start.

The thing that hurts all these guys is lack of team success - for Suh in both Detroit and Miami. Watch - the HOF list from this "era" will be skewed in the AFC East toward NE. Buffalo and the Jets are in same boat as us with their best players too.

Not sure what ESPN is thinking with Suh, DTs have a ROUGH time getting in the HoF, the last DT to get in was Sapp, and if you look at the numbers he is way ahead of Suh at this point in their careers.

Since Suh isn't a great run stopper, like Sapp was, he will have to get a lot more sacks than he's been getting, and he'll have to get the ever important DPoY.

Suh is not getting in if he keeps having seasons like last season, even though some say it was the best season of his career. Suh needs personal stats and/or a great defense and/or a championship caliber team. If teams are allowed to keep double teaming him while having their way with the rest of the defense then he'll be viewed as one of the worst free agent signings of all time, which is probably not going to help your cause with voters.

I agree.

Jarvis Landry is the firs player I thought of...not Suh...

Don't really consider Mario a Dolphin as far as hall of fame mentions go. Suh is the only one Hall worthy if he keeps up his high level of play, but will he go in as a Dolphin or Lion?

Jarvis Landry will walk right into Canton!! We have forgotten what this type of player looks like fellas. This guy is so underrated still it's not even funny. There's not a player in football right now with more heart and desire than this guy. He will continue to put up great numbers and will be as durable as they come. There is a reason he gets so many looks and touches he is a GREAT WR. People like to talk measurable and he's an outside guy or slot. We have all seen Jarvis go against the best Cb's and guess what against them he still gets looks and still make plays. When he hangs the cleats up he will be top 10 all time in catches and receiving yards and if our new coach is the real deal maybe top 3!! Call me biased or overvaluing our own or whatever but Jarvis Landry's is what the HOF was built on! Cam Wake is another he's a top 25 pass rusher of all time I think just due to the late NFL start he would have to play until he's like 39 and probably have us win a Super Bowl or something.

I think Dolphins fans will have more appreciation for Jarvis Landry's talent when we start actually using it for more than bubble screens and 3 yard crossers.

I don't know if he's a Hall of Famer, but he can contribute more than he is.

I can't wait to see Jarvis take over this year.

Him and Parker (please stay healthy kid) will be the best reciver duo in Miami history.

multiple all-pro teams ought the first benchmark, the pro bowl team is a frigging joke.

How about past Dolphin players who have a shot. Here's a short list....

Jason Taylor --- I think he should make it.
Richmond Webb --- Seven pro bowls may not be enough.
Mark Clayton --- Played right before wide receiver numbers blew up.

For today, Suh has a shot and possibly Landry. I don't think Wake has enough career sacks unless he can play well into his 30's, which isn't realistic.
