Seattle looks like a winner getting a 4th, 5th and 2 6ths. A lot of extra picks. Surprised we didn't get anything for Big Paul. How is this stuff determined anyway?

Brandon Albert's contract killed that for us. This is only a projection by the way, i think miami will end up getting a 5th or 6th rd comp. pick.

Why doesn't Revis appear on the list? He was clearly a major pick-up by the Patriots. How did they manage to get around that?

Perhaps this contract stuff is too complicated for my simple brain, but I have a tough time believing that getting one game out of Moreno nets Denver a 6th, while Soliai or any other FAs of ours gets us nothing

So New England upgraded CB by replacing Aqib Talib with Revis and they also now get a 3rd round Draft pick. That's pretty impressive roster management by Belichick.

Concur. Though, Belichick is a genius... or so the media keeps telling us.

Bottom line; the nfl is shady.

They will need it after they lose their 1st round.

Supposedly there is a formula for figuring out how CDPs are assigned but not even Newton could figure that **** out.

Ozzie, TT, and John Schneider do a wonderful job of recognizing the value of comp picks, and stay out of free agency. Also TT and Ozzie will only sign players that have been cut so they don't factor into the formula. Also players signed after June 1st do not as well so Ozzie will make some signings like that. You don't buy a team, you build it. That's why I hate watching Miami sign a bunch of players to cover up the holes they have from failed draft picks. Draft and Develop.

System is so flawed it's ridiculous, Honestly wish they would do away with all compensatory picks.
