Quarterbacks
Ryan Tannehill is back after missing 21 months because of his ACL injury ( or injuries). And so the Dolphins are confident they will have a significant upgrade at quarterback. But what about rustiness? He showed some in the preseason. And what about durability? And what do we know about the player Tannehill has become after nearly two years? Those answers are unknown. This is known: If Tannehill gets hurt again, or plays poorly, the season will be a disaster because there is no savior as a backup quarterback on the roster. Grade: C-plus

LB's graded higher than DL, not sure about that.
I'm sure ISS. NO FREAKIN WAY!!! We have much better depth on the DL, along with the starters being much better on the DL as opposed to our LB's. Our starting LBs are question marks, AT BEST. I am liking the depth aspect of our LBs though. Better than its been in years.

Good read, thanks. I agree with most, I'm just not as high on the offensive line as he is.

It's Just a ratings article but the projections of opinion in some of the ratings are crazy.

The OL gets an "A" when they haven't done anything yet but the running backs get a "B" with their proven performance?

I'm not sure how they can give us a B+ for wideouts. I'm really struggling to find the faith in our umpa lumpa group we have there, the only big body we have is always injured when he's able to make the field often displays remarkable invisibility skills that leave you questioning whether he was still injured.

They are putting a lot of blind faith in the Oline with an A grade. I think the 1's did a decent job in pre-season and kept Tannehill upright for the most part, but I'm not ready to anoint them as new kings until they come up against teams not running vanilla.

I've been very pleasantly surprised with how good Quinn has looked and the DLine in general may not be as awful as we first thought, although giving up a couple of long running plays in the pre-season doesn't reflect great on them.

LB's are an area of major concern for me, McMillan really hasn't flashed like we would have expected and how that unit perform I think is reliant heavily on him.

We've got most of our stars in the DB positions Jones, Howard, TJ Mc and by the looks of pre-season promise, Fitzpatrick, look genuine pro bowl caliber players, they are joined by less than talent but which DB crew is fully stocked across the board ?

We've all talked QB enough to know we have no depth there and the starter polarizes opinions, he's either A+ or C at best.

On the whole, IMO (and I sincerely hope I am wrong) we are not really stacked talent wise and this season is likely to be anything from a car wreck to the usual middle of the pack. Still got my game pass/ Sunday Ticket all paid up (not lucky enough to live locally and attend in person) so I'll be living in the hope.

Overall article seems fair and within range of grades. Personally, world go B+ for OL until proven and WR a B-

I absolutely love our RB room right now, huge Drake fan from the get go. I would give our RB's the highest overall grade (with stiff competition from the secondary) on the entire roster.

I would gladly trade all of our RB's if you promised me an OL worthy of an A grade. Give me any 3 RB's off the street to go with that OL and I'll say good bye to Drake, Gore and Ballage right now. And I like each of them a lot.

Wow, so Tannehill has shown rustiness? He has been so rusty, he was the 10 ranked 1st string QB in pre-season with a 99.0 rating...So there might be a problem with his duribility? Duribility is so bad, he ran for yards quite a few times, and got hit a few time with little problem...The only thing we do know is that Tannehill recorded his highest Rating ever in preseason, without Landry here anymore, without Parker, without using his possibly talented TEs much this pre-season.

If your going to actually try to rate positions, rate them on how they looked, if you're still going to make excuses to rate them low, when they look good, why even do a rating, just say every position low...end of story. I rate Tannehill B+, and the top backups a C....Bringing the QB position to a B-

Seems a bit on the optimistic side to me. I think the biggest weakness is the front seven. I see the defensive line as maybe average overall, because of the pass rush potential. But it looks bottom third in the league as far as stopping the run. Right now, I'd grade the linebackers as less than average until proven otherwise. Lots of young talent on both units, though, so maybe there will be some positive surprises.

I like the new additions at wide receiver, but a B+ is too high there IMO. I'd go C+ and see where it goes. I'm concerned that the special teams, specifically the kicking game, will lose Miami a game or two. That probably puts it in the C- range at best. I also like the offensive line, but wouldn't grade it as an A. Maybe a B. Could be very solid.
