Proof we're pushing hard for Manning

I feel that's a bit of an overreach , but everyone has an opinion.

I don't understand why Marshall would place himself in that position, with the talent he has.

I never understood Ricky Williams either.

All I can think of is it's not that great.

I wish him luck.

Who in his right mind would want to be a QB on this team
with "this group of wide receivers"?

I'll tell you who,
Only a player drafted who doesn't have a choice or a player already
here...Manning or Flynn are not coming to what looks to be the worst group
of wide receivers in the NFL

1) Of course the bears knew about it, the Dolphins were TRADING HIM to them, duh. They'd have to disclose it or the Bears would never sign off on it. Kind of like how you get a background check before you get a job?

2) Decent receivers is an understatement. Bess, Hartline, Gates. Bess catches nearly anything you throw his way. Hartline has made incredible sideline catches with both feet in bounds, some for touchdowns. Gates can torch down the sideline with his speed. Figure you pick up another in the draft (blackmon?) or FA (Wayne) and who cares about Marshall anymore?

Touchdown that is touchdown Hartline has 1 touchdown in 26 games.

We went from a decent to good WR core that needed a #2 upgrade but now we are a bottom 5 unit easy. Bess can't play outside, hartline being the focus of a defense would be hilarious. Gates hasnt even proved he is half of what ginn was and thats not saying much at all. Pruitt, Moore, Wallace? Terrible. I thought because we let Marshall go for so little that it was for Manning too, but no one knew of the fact he hit a woman, so it bit us in the ass trading for a troubled WR in the first place. Wayne gone now too? I don't think Manning is coming now.

I seriously doubt Miami cutting Marshall had anything to do with Peyton Manning. Do you think Manning said, "I will not play QB for Miami unless you cut Marshall?" NO, that never happened. They are two completely separate issues. Marshall wore out his welcome and was dealt away...simple as that.

Yep. That's the ticket.

So you read the first line of my post and then decided to respond?

Because if you bothered reading anything ELSE i wrote, you would have realized that Manning would rather play with decent receivers he could make better than advocate a guy who slugs women in the face.

It was a PR move, a face saving trade that allowed Miami to take the moral high ground and look good to Manning. Keeping a woman abuser would only push Manning further away.

Hope you bothered reading this response entirely.

Yes I read the entire post before I responded. I just didn't want to start pointing out all the contradictions you yourself posted. The guys under my posts pointed them out though.
