Normally I wouldnt post something like this, but I just stumbled across it and I think it looks pretty cool! Some of you based in the Florida area may find this interesting if youre a Rays fan... if they even have any fans  But I guess I shouldn't talk much... im a blue jays fan. However, I'm also a bit of Tigers fan too.

Anyways, check out this place... I think its pretty cool, how bout you?

It really does. lol Though, spending that much money on a stadium with a team in the wrong division that has the Yankees, Redsox, and hell even the Blue Jays. lol

Wonder if Tampa Bay will ever start investing money on players to compete with the big boys on that division. They do have a lot of talent though.

Hopefully they can field a team that can compete with the big boys soon. I'm tired of the Sox/Yanks on PTI all the time and on ESPN

ESPN will never stop talking about those two teams. Coverage will either be "The Yankees/Sox are the greatest teams in the history of baseball and one of them will win it all this year!" or "These teams suck, how can they fix themselves as quickly as possible?"

They will never disappear from ESPN's programming.

The Marlins have to find a way to build a roofed stadium like what the Devil Rays have but make it nicer looking on the inside. Maybe they could have a real grass field like the Arizona Cardinals have and roll the grass field into place like they do in Arizona for football. The Devil Rays just need to open up their wallets a little more.

Last night the city council held a public meetings where those opposed came out in droves. Over 100 people spoke. And the majority in attendance opposed it. The big concern is parking.

The council must decide by June whether the stadium makes it to the ballot in November. It is a very cool looking stadium. This is with the roof 'closed'.

There was talk last year that this stadium might host a football championship game (ACC, etc.).

Marlins Stadium was approved. Two new baseball stadiums in FL. Sweetness

This is pretty old but I live in Tampa so I known about it for awhile

I wish the Marlins could build their stadium by the bay instead of the OB site. Oh well, i'm just happy they're getting one.
