Props to Brandon Fields

We have the best punter in the NFL. Small consolation after Sunday but he was and always is solid. The Buffalo punter had a little weather issue but he pounded it. He rarely gets any mention (except when he gets hit in the face with the ball) and he has helped with field position every game.

Well, he does consistently get mentioned HERE as our best player and didn't he go to the Pro Bowl last season? He does a great job for us.

The punter, as good as he is, should never be one of the most mentioned MVPs.

I see what you mean, but honestly, Fields is a virtual field position game changer no matter where we are punting from. It's the kind of thing that you don't realize the value until you don't have it. Given the way he punts, if our d held more often than they do, we could be starting from our own 35 or 40 more often than not. The guy is a machine and if our offence had greater consistency, I would think that the field position he gives us would be good for at least 6-10 more points per game.
