Props to Tannehill

This whole week was **** and now after this game. I am a bit excited again. RT please...carry us. GO PHINS

I'm sorry bro but Tannehill did very little to win this game. If someone would have told me that our defense was gonna force 4 turnovers and get a safety I would have pictured us winning by several scores...If Tannehill would have played really well we would have. Not hating...just pointing out the obvious.

Tannehill had a 92.6 rating, 200 yards, a rushing TD, drove us to a game tying score with 1:30 left and didn't turn the ball over or make a mistake all day. How in the world do you get from that that he did very little to win this game?

BTW we are 4-0 this year when Tannehill has a 90+ QB rating.

A very good game? Man our standards have become low....lol. Cheers on the win though!

Yes, a very good game. Very efficient and NO TURNOVERS. It's great progress for a 2nd year QB. Did it with two back up OL, only getting 3 offensive snaps in the 3rd quarter and STILL delivering a game tying FG drive at the end of the game against a 6-2 football team.

Tannehill got the job done.

What he did was lead us to only 22 points ( in 5 quarters ) when he was handed 4 turnovers and a safety. That is not going to win many games and our defense will not do that very often. I like Tanne and am willing to give him plenty of time to grow...but he did not play that great tonight

I am happy Tanne didn't turn the ball over. That's a good sign....but any good offense that gets handed 4 turnovers and a safety should put up a 40 burger..at least a damn 30 burger.

The flow of the game was off completely in the second half after the Grimes pick. Our D couldn't get off the field. We ran in the first half a ton, Tanne did what he needed to win and made big throws. This wasn't a game where there would've been 40 points scored. Our O didn't even have that kind of time. Bengals were eatin' clock in the second half.

I guess Alex Smith isn't going to win many games either then? Because this was a big time Alex Smith type of game and last time I looked they were 8-0. So far this year Ryan and the Dolphins are 4-0 when he has a QB rating of 90 or more. Not to mention he led us to at least 10 more points on the Miller fumble and missed FG. Nothing wrong with 30 points in 4 quarters!

We didn't get 30 points in 4 quarters, we got 22 in 5....lol

Dude, we aren't going to hang 40 on people. Our OL is struggling, our rushing game is... okay, and we are missing our best performing wide receiver. Our backup H-Back is our starting tight end. Our OC makes the most bizarre play calls ever.

This is the kind of game we need from #17.

Did you watch the game? 1st half the Offense played great 3rd quarter the Defense got pushed to the 8 yard line and intercepted the ball and score after which they went back out and got pushed again and Cinci scored, that was the third 1/4.
RT drove down the field and set up the tying field goal.
Overtime RT drives the team and gets it set up to reverse field position Dalton starts from his 8 yard and is sacked for a safety by Wake game over.
RT had nothing to do with the win.

I guess you're not capable of simple comprehension. We got 20 in 4 quarters. Tannehill EASILY got us to 10 more points if Sturgis doesn't miss a chip shot and Miller doesn't cut back inside and fumble at the 1. You see those are 10 more points. Those 10 plus the 20 we did score equals 30. Got it?

You basically just said that because our offense is so bad that it's okay and expected for Tanne to underwhelm.....lol

Those are all if, ands, and buts my friend. Bottom line is what happened on the field....22 points in 5 quarters with a crap load of help from our D. That is what happened

He didn't underwhelm me tonight.

Did you even see that throw to Hartline that got us the game tying field goal? That underwhelmed you? What do you want from him? He played well tonight. He is a second year quarterback who many (including me) felt needed to sit for a year before being thrown into the fray. He just went out there and made some big time plays to beat a playoff team. He ran the offense well, he audibled out of bad plays, he was GREAT on the crunch time game-tying no timeouts drive.

I'm not underwhelmed.

It's not an if and and but. Those are 10 guaranteed points when those guys do their jobs. But I'm tired of beating this point into you, you're just looking to argue and take some of the shine off of this great win. Enjoy your misery!

Miami doesn't get to OT without Tannehill on that last drive in regulation. If your going to pick at his performance how about something with some meat on it.

Not going to knock on the D they were the one of the reasons the Phins won, but you can also say the D were the ones who almost folded under pressure and couldn't get off the field resulting into TDs for the other team.
